I wanted an inexpensive shoe and this fills the bill. They are lightweight, stiff at first but broke in quickly. They do not have much padding in the sole, but an insert makes them comfortable, well fitting and inexpensive!
We like the fact they come in wide.
i like the style, fit, and material.
I purchased these cause my property is on a slope and I have found that these hiking shoes provide me a better grip so I don't slip and fall. I usually by the cheaper Ozark trails but they were out of my size so I got these instead. They seem a slight step up from what I usually purchase. I like them, they will suit my needs nicely.
Very stiff shoe to wear from the start. Will require a break-in period before they are more flexible. Materials seem to be very good on upper shoe, but the heels are showing wear already after only a couple times out on the trail. But then again, I live in Arizona, and I'm out on a lot of ROCKY trails. So we'll have to see how they hold up on the long run.
These are comfortable and fit nice. Waterproof held up around 2 months. How the rubber sole has decayed enough and the insoles have warn so that water soaks from the ground right up into your socks. My usage has been an average of 25 miles of walking on sidewalks per week during this period. The tread has warn a bit, but the top (part everyone can see) still looks new. For this price, I have no complaints.
The shoes are OK. They are very narrow in the toes. It might have been better to get a wide size, but then the rest (midfoot, heel) is the right width. Thus far, they've been wearable. I'll see if they stretch out over time. I definitely wouldn't want to wear them hiking 10 miles with a backpack, though.
Although the website states it's returnable/exchangeable, it is not. After trying chat, phone, Facebook, I was unsuccessful, and on the Facebook chat I was asked to wait a couple of days for someone to contact me. 4 days later I received a second pair of shoes. So now I have two pairs of shoes that don't fit. And no way to exchange them for a larger size.
Incorrect size I normally wear 11 double E. These are too small.
ive ordered twice..first time 10 was too small so ordered a 10 1/2 and received another 10..returned to nearest walmart for refund..im going to order anotger 10 1/2 hopefully i will receive the right size..this was a birthday present and he was so disappointed
