Northside Men's Snohomish Leather Water Resistant Hiking Shoe (Wide Available)

As it pertains to most anything, there are pluses and minuses with this shoe. On the upside, this shoe is largely as advertised. It is water resistant, fairly ruggedly put together, and is reasonably comfortable. How durable it will ultimately be is naturally contingent on the heaviness of wear and tear it will be subjected to. On the minus side and in the "caveat emptor" vein, it should be plainly spelled out to any prospective buyer that they'll want to consider selecting a half size - or in some cases a full size - larger shoe than they might normally opt for. These shoes are generally uncomfortably too tight for any given specific foot size. If your foot size measures ten, for example, the size ten shoe is not going to fit well, and even a half size larger might still be a squeeze. Width is also something to consider. If you wear a wide width, a double wide might be more comfortable. The shoe's tongue is sewn more snugly than usual, which can exacerbate the too tight feeling. In the main, and provided the fit is proper, it is a very decent hiking shoe.

These shoes are great but they run a little small.

My husband really likes these shoes. But they run really small. He tried a 9 and 9.5, but now needs a 10.

Wore these while touring Denali National Park. Were comfortable and wore good.

Their shoes run a size too small, I wear a 8.5 I order a 9 and still to small
