NorthStar Electric Wet Steam and Hot Water Pressure Washer, 2750 PSI, 2.5 GPM, 230 Volts

This pressure washer is working very good on our farm. I really like the shutoff on the pump when I release the handle lever. I think this option will reduce the ware on the pump and motor. This company makes a good product!

I bought one of these washers for the company I work for to see how good it was. I used it at work for about a year, then bought one from myself, for home use. I am just replacing the first broken part, a brass fitting that cracked. I purchased my unit in August of 2003, and the one I have at work is still going with no problems. Best machine for the dollar spent.

Waiting on an elect. To put an outdoor 230 outlet in, this washer was recommended by a friend who has the same model only 23 years older and still runs like it's new.. The New Model has Adjustable temp, and pressure. Also a longer power cord and washer hose now he wants to up grade his..........

This is our second heated pressure washer from northern and the first lasted longer than expected. This one came in damaged by the freight company and my account rep had a new one shipped the same day we refused the original order. We mainly use these to clean heavy equipment before service intervals.

This is one of several products .I have bought from Northern over the past 20 plus years.. Every one has been above my expectations. If there were anything wrong with the product or shipping Northern always corrected the problem. This steam cleaner did a very good job for me. I was hired to clean 365 stores. Mainly to clean the gum from their side walks. I was surprised how well my washer worked. And with the dual capacity to wash was wonderful. I had a problem with a temp gage, within a couple of days no questions asked , was sent a new part.

The hot portion of this machine does not work. Thankfully it is under manufacturers warranty, but that means we have to load it up, take it to a store, leave it and be without until they get around to fixing it or replacing it.

I bought a month ago and took it back for repairs. It cycles off when you release wand lever, it is supposed to restart once you depress lever. It has safety and flows switches not working. It has back to Northern Tool for 3 weeks as they have confirmed the issue, replaced some of the parts yet haven't to find the real problem. I have had the previous version of this unit for 20 years and it worked great, not a fan of the current safety and shutdown configuration.

I recently purchased a pressure washer from a particular store, but unfortunately, I've had a disappointing experience. Within 11 months of ownership, the machine started malfunctioning and emitting smoke when using hot pressure water. Upon inspection, I discovered that the thermal coil had developed a pinhole leak. *Warranty Claim and Support* I contacted the warranty department to report the issue, but they declined to provide assistance under warranty. They requested that I bring the unit in for diagnostics, and I would be charged for replacement parts if the issue was deemed eligible for repair. Given the circumstances, I decided to proceed with the repairs at my own expense. *Overall Experience and Recommendation* Considering the $4,000 investment in the product, I expect a higher level of quality and customer support. Unfortunately, my experience has led me to advise against purchasing pressure washers from this particular store. The lack of satisfactory warranty support and product reliability has fallen short of my expectations.
