Kids Will Enjoy This

MellowDee February 12, 2022

I have 3 kids who all love ice cream! This was a great way for them to make their favorite treat on their own! I love the fact that it is easy to use AND clean! It comes with 4 ice cream mixes, no salt or ice needed! Takes about 25-30 minutes to complete! There is also a slot where you could add your extras to the mix! This was a great buy! Highly recommended...especially if you have little ones!

Awesome!!!!

Eternus February 9, 2022

As soon as I unboxed this Nostalgia Electric Ice Cream Maker I was in love. It is the cutest little thing ever. It's a very small machine just for 1-2 people so not one for the whole family. But if your looking to make a pint of the most delicious ice cream ever then this is the perfect machine. It's beyond super easy to use and clean. There is only a mixing paddle that is removable and the motor detached from the lid for super easy cleaning of everything. And there's just one button to push!!!! That's it, super easy to use at any age. Best of all it comes with a built in fluid in the bowl base so no need for salt or ice. Just put the entire bottom base/bowl in the freezer for 24hrs then put in your ingredients and push the button that's it! It could not be more simple. I love it! And I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an awesome personal ice cream machine.

Amazing ice cream maker

Lolo March 8, 2022

My favorite thing about this small appliance is its size. My kitchen is not huge For that reason I prefer appliances that will easily fit on my counter. I also have a small freezer as I have to leave the bowl in the freezer for a while I was happy that It could fit in there easily. In the box there was the ice cream maker, the user manual And a recipe book. The device is pretty easy to use I left the bowl overnight in the freezer Then I added my mixture and turned it on that was it nothing else to do. The ice cream Was ready pretty fast and it was yummy. My kids were happy.

So much fun

Mamaisweets February 9, 2022

This is such a great ice cream maker! I love that you don't need to buy salt and ice like with other brands so there is basically zero mess. The size is perfect so we don't make too much but there's still definitely enough for my family of 5 to enjoy. The side slots make it so easy to add in extra toppings too!

Perfect for one serving

MomofBoys February 15, 2022

This ice cream maker is perfect for a single or double serving of ice cream. Do not expect to make a big tub of ice cream for the family as it can only make about a pint at a time. You can also not use this for more than one use per day as it takes about 24 hours for the tub to freeze for use. I tried making 2 pints back to back and the second serving never froze but the first serving was perfect, creamy and delicious. I love the packaged mixes as they are delicious and flavorful. Easy to mix and use and extras can be frozen.

It's nice

Fancy February 10, 2022

I was impressed. I thought it was going to be hard to make ice cream and this was the first time I've ever made any. I made a few different flavors and it was outstanding. It was easy to make directions was easy to follow. It's didn't require any hard work or elbow grease because it did all the work. It will be great in the summer. We camp a lot so I'm really excited to take it camping and have home made ice cream.

Cute little ice cream maker

Shortywcb April 19, 2022

Darling little ice cream maker that doesn't require dry ice or complicated directions. It's small so easy to store in your cabinets and very easy to clean. Using the appliance results in yummy ice cream and a ton of fun for the entire family to use. The kids beg us to make ice cream every weekend now! 4 packets of ice cream mix came with the unit including the classic flavors of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry as well as everyone's favorite: Chocolate chip cookie dough. We have enjoyed every flavor and plan to order more. I would highly recommend this product as a gift for all ages from children to the elderly. It doesn't make a ton of ice cream, but enough for the kids, grandparents, newlyweds, or any small household. Besides just making a delicious treat at home, it really brings the family together when we all make the ice cream together and then get to enjoy the result of our “work.” Doing activities like this with your family is very important and a great, unique way to bond and have fun at the same time!

Works well for making 2-3 servings of ice cream

Gusmama February 11, 2022

The ice cream maker is small and convenient, not taking up much cupboard space for efficient kitchens. I love the color and the simplicity of it. The freezer bowl needs to be kept in the freezer for 24 hours before using the product. I have decided to leave it in the freezer whenever it's not in use, so it can be ready at a moment's notice. I tried pouring in the mix using the ingredient chutes (small holes) as was recommended in the instruction book, and it was a mess. It was easy for me to just dump everything in with the lid off. I appreciate that if I don't screw the lid on just right, after I turn the switch, it spins into place and snaps shut. The lid can be a little tricky to get off after the ice cream has mixed. I would like to see a button to easily release the mixer attachment into my sink when finished mixing so ice cream doesn't drip all over my counter. Also, it really does make a small amount. When using the Nostalgia ice cream mixes, it only holds 1/4-1/3 of the bag at a time. When I tried to mix it up in batches, the freezer bowl quickly warmed up and by the third batch, the ice cream was pretty liquidy. Next time I would plan to just do one batch and then refreeze the bowl. For 2-3 servings of ice cream though, this machine works well! I am looking forward to using this to make my own healthier ice cream at home.

Ice cream maker?

mommyinmiami February 13, 2022

The Nostalgia 1 pint ice cream maker is a nice idea but it really does not make ice cream. I have tried twice on two different days and I got the same result. It spins and tries to make ice cream but it is more like yogurt. It never really gets thick more like liquid,I used the Nostalgia brand of ice cream and followed directions but sadly it looks more like a shake.I like the fact that ice was not required and freezing the bowl was all I had to do ,I have to also mention this ice cream machine was pretty loud. Sadly I dont think this is worth buying unless you like liquid instead of ice cream.

Disappointing ice cream maker

Daniboyyy February 26, 2022

This thing is pretty flimsy and gives up before you have real ice cream...luckily you never get real ice cream because the bowl you freeze doesn't have enough heat sink capacity to properly freeze a batch. Very unhappy with this purchase but it's cheap enough it's not worth my trouble to send it back.
