Nostalgia 4-Quart Electric Parlor-Style Ice Cream Maker, Aqua

We are trying to learn how to make homemade ice cream and didn't want to spend a fortune for the experiment Ordered this and it delivered next day - on try number 3, we like it - the ice cream- the freezer is meeting the expectations and the use is perfect for what we are doing - I had purchased a pampered chef ice cream maker and it's only the 3rd thing from PC that I haven't liked - I like this $20 item much more than that $90 PC item

This churn worked well enough, but not as well as the old fashioned Rival churns with a larger canister and the blade that actually turned. Problems: The tub turned but the mix started freezing and stopped mixing. After the extra 30 minutes actually churning the mix, the center was still runny as it was in the beginning. I placed it in the freezer where it did freeze completely. Overall, this will work but not quick enough to serve right away. I will be using it again.

Great Prize, I wish the motor on machine ran longer than 30 minutes. It make about a quart of ice cream in about 30-45 minutes. The canister stays cold for short transport depending on how you pack it. But overall, I would recommend this product. You will be satisfied.

I was excited to try this ice cream maker because I liked the retro design and the large 4-quart capacity. Unfortunately, my experience wasn't what I expected. The motor turned on, but the ice cream mixture did not churn properly, so I wasn't able to get the desired results. I followed the instructions, but it didn't perform as expected. It's possible my unit was defective, but based on my experience, I was disappointed. It was easy to assemble, has an attractive vintage look, and is a good size for making ice cream for family or friends. If your unit works correctly, it will be a fun appliance. However, my experience was that it did not churn, so I would recommend checking that all parts are assembled correctly and contacting customer support if you experience the samemake does not

This was delivered to wrong address! Luckily I was able to track down. Our address is on our house so confused how this happened.

I just opened my box and the motor housing is cracked. I said it looked like it was repackaged.

I used this ice cream maker for the first time today, and it stopped working within 20 minutes! The motor on top became so hot, we were concerned it was going to catch on fire! I had to pour the icecream mixture into other containers and put in the refrigerator freezer. What a disappointment!

this was supposed to be a birthay hift for my son. it took a very long time to recieve it and after i gave it to my son they didnt open itfor a while. When they finally did, it was missing the inside parts, the paddle to actually churn the ice cream was missing rendering it useless. i want my money back.
