Not Your Mother's Curl Talk Curl Activating Hair Mousse, 11.3 oz

I've tried a bunch of different routines and products for my wavy hair, but ultimately, I ended up just sticking with this mousse. It's literally the only product I use to make my hair wavy, soft, and shiny. I saw that some reviews complain about it making their hair crunchy– once your hair is dry, you're supposed to "scrunch out the crunch". Meaning, use your hands to squeeze your hair in an upward motion to get rid of the crunchy texture and leave your hair with a soft, wavy texture. NYM should probably include this step in the directions on the packaging; I only know this from watching YouTube videos. People have also mentioned the smell, which isn't my favorite either, but it doesn't make your hair smell weird. My partner actually compliments how my hair smells after using it. My only complaint is that the mousse comes out super fast; you have to dispense it for the shortest amount of time possible to not get too much. But I love the product so I'm still giving it 5 stars!

Love this product. Holds my fine wavy hair in a soft cast and holds moisture well. I typically don't even need gel for more hold.

The mousse is good but the dispenser cap has broken off of every can I've ever purchased making it really difficult to use.

Gives a decent hold but leaves my hair feeling greasy and coated, even after breaking the cast. Does not work well for multiple day styling for my hair.

Did nothing as described so put aside with othe failed products

It has a very light hold which is disappointing. It also has no cast.
