Great product. One out of two of our kids liked the chocolate flavor better; otherwise this solved their iron level issue and it last for a few months. Buy again.
Picky toddler approves. Just shake the bottle well before pouring/drawing up.
My daughter needed a very specific amount of elemental Iron supplementation for anemia. Her Pediatrician wrote a script for the pharmacy to compound, but no pharmacy would fill it. I did some research online and found NovaFerrum. This stuff is magic. I kid you not, my child opens her mouth like a baby bird in anticipation of her dropper full of iron. It must taste good. And, no noted constipation! Recommend!
It's not too bad. My little one is pretty good about taking it, though makes a bit of a face. I've heard how terrible iron is overall and what a battle it can be though, so I'm grateful for just a little face almost a week in to daily doses. The iron is elemental iron instead of the ferrous sulfate iron that's prescribed by my little one"s doctor, and apparently it's not quite as easily absorbed in the body, so it's possible it doesn't work to raise iron levels like we need. I found vitamin c aids absorption so we take it with a homemade smoothie each morning packed with all the fruity champs of vitamin c. We'll go for retest in 2 months and prescribed, so I'm crossing my fingers we don't have to move to the disgusting stuff! On a bad note, the suction measure dropper is TERRIBLE. It has zero power to suck up or push out the medicine and makes a royal mess. Plus it's almost impossible to clean. We got another measure vial from another source that meets our needs.
Was a different flavor than the one pictured/expected.
