I bought the doggie robot before and after a week my son was done with it, although it looks cute some how didn't work for him. This little fella is the cutes robot, as soon I took it out of the box and turned on the sound, clarity and cuteness got me (and I am the mom ) lol My little loves it he is five years old, my Yorkie is jealous but this toy is awesome! Easy to set up or train and you wanna take it everywhere .
Novie interactive smart robot is ready to go as soon as you open it, batteries are included, when you turn it on his eyes light up he makes sounds and rolls around immediately. So small and cute looks like a little alarm clock. It says for ages 4 and up but is very entertaining for all ages, my 11 and 12 year old kids like to play with it as well as my husband. Once you get started he is teachable you can teach him tricks and movements to do and he reacts to your hands moving. Comes with pamphlet to get you started on different levels of learning. Works good on smooth surface like linoleum floors or table, but not carpet. I got red, not sure if different colors do different things or not but he is cute and interesting.
This little robot is so adorable, As soon as we opened the box the kids were amazed, The Novie robot listened to all the commands by the wave of a hand or A push of a button on the top of the novie, The little robot will spin make noise and do so much more A great gift to give, highly recommend this product to anyone...
The QBR Novie Robot Ast CDU WLMX GEN8 is awesome. Prepare for hours and hours of fun with this adorable pocket sized robot. You can teach her many tricks and he also talks. My 9 year old daughter absolutely loves this little robot. It doesn't work very well on carpet as to be expected. However works great on hardwood floors or tile floors. We absolutely love this little robot and play with him every day
The Novie Interactive Smart Robot is a fun toy to play with. This is a smart robot that responds to hand gestures. It took us a while to figure out how to make Novie respond. Luckily, Novie the Interactive Smart Robot came with a very easy to read instruction sheet. There is a step-by-step quick start guide on how to make the best use of Novie the Interactive Smart Robot. Although Novie the Interactive Smart Robot respond to hand gestures, I advise using slow hand gestures. One of the things we found out is that you cannot quickly swipe your hand or move your hand rapidly. Novie the Interactive Smart Robot would not be able to sense or detect the movement of your hand. It is best that you play with Novie in an open space where there are no obstruction or items that may “confuse” Novie. Novie the interactive Smart Robot sense what is in front of it. So make sure that Novie only sees your hand. Novie the Interactive Smart Robot is small. The robot is approximately 2W x 2D x 2H in size. And because of Novie's size, it is easy to lose, step, or sit on Novie. Always make sure that Novie doesn't fall off the table or get dunked in water. Novie the Interactive Smart Robot uses (4) coin button batteries. Please be aware that this robot's batteries are not your standard AAA batteries. One of the biggest issue some people complain is that Novie the Smart Robot makes noise. Not a loud noise but some sort of squeaky interactive computer sound. Some people find the sound “cute” like a pet and some get annoyed by the constant squealing. Novie the Interactive Smart Robot was designed to mimic hand gestures with sound – sound to let the user know that Novie is responding to command. Reading the instructions further, Novie can be trained from beginner to advance. There are numerous tricks Novie can learn and his interactive light eyes indicate the level of training. Novie the Interactive Smart Robot can also “socialize” or hang out with other Novie Smart Robots. It is definitely amazing to see how they interact with each other. The fun never ends! Overall, we love Novie the Interactive Smart Robot. Knowing that we can train and play with Novie for a long time, we believe Novie is a toy that will last long – never boring. Novie will not be shoved away, placed, or hidden in the closet. We like the idea of training Novie the Interactive Smart Robot and see how Novie performs. Novie the Interactive Smart Robot will make a great gift for kids to play with. I highly recommend the Novie Interactive Smart Robot to all ages.
My 7 year old loves this little robot. Its a fun toy that holds his attention. You can teach it up to 75 different tricks using hand gestures. It spins and has different modes you can train it in and the eyes switch colors. It also gets better at learning the more you play with it. The only downside (according to my son) is that the toy is super noisy and you can't turn the sound down. Overall, I would recommend.
Ok seriously this thing is just loaded with all of the MUST have for a fun, interactive supertpys. It took my 9. 10, and 12 year old all of a few hours to program it do all of the availabal8 trips I also love the fact it teaches them good programming tech. As they go through tasks they are required to let know on my parent accounts. I enjoy they are building there love to teach other people succeed together.
My 10 year old daughter and I played with the Novie robot and had a lot of fun. It's pretty simple to get the little robot to do tricks with simple hand gestures. He does many movements, including singing and spinning. He works best on smooth surfaces like tile or hardwood. We had a lot of fun. It was very interactive too. Novie is so cute! Even if you leave the robot on it has a timer and will shut itself off when not being played with, meaning the batteries won't drain. There is an instructional booklet enclosed with very easy to follow directions. You don't even have to be a “reader” to understand how to get the little bot to do some tricks. She plays with it almost everyday. Kids do need both practice and patience to get the robot to do the tricks you want. I think this would be a cool toy for boys or girls, ages 5 and up. My 16 year old son even enjoyed playing with the little bot.
My kids tore into this packaging as soon as it arrived. My oldest son (aged 8 years old) is completely obsessed with anything robots, so he was won over from the start. This robot is supposed to be able to learn 12 tricks and there are 3 different stages (beginner, intermediate and advanced). Upon playing with it, I feel like the tricks/hand gestures are rather difficult to "teach". It comes with a booklet of tricks to teach the robot, but even with both me and my husband following the steps, sometimes it worked and sometimes it would not. Even though we couldn't figure out much with the tricks, my kids still enjoy it. They think it is a cute robot and even after having it for a few weeks now, it still gets play with a few times a week (which is a win in my opinion, because generally my kids will play with something and shove it into their toy box, never to be played with again). From a parents point of view, this toy is somewhat noisy, but it is a tolerable amount of noise. Overall, I think this would be a cute gift for any child that likes robots or interactive "pets". I also think it would be pretty amazing to see a few of these close to one another interacting together. Even though I did not have much luck with the "tricks", I would still recommend this robot to others. Just keep in mind that sometimes the tricks work and other times they do not.
This arrived with dead batteries. Purchased and Replaced batteries. Lasted about 20 mins before it started glitching and powering down.
