Novogratz Poolside Gossip, Asher 27" Wood Burning Fire Pit with Grilling Surface, Aqua Haze

I am very pleased with my Novogratz wood burning fire pit. I love the aqua color and the contemporary look. It is built durable, weather resistant and the sides do not get too hot. The fire pit comes with an ash guard, poker, a solid lid, a cooking grill and a rain cover. The pit also is easy to move around. It is very relaxing in the evenings to sit around. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.

This fire pit is so unique. It comes with a grate for grilling in addition to a nice metal cover for the top when not in use. It also comes with the screen for sparks and a nylon cover for storage. The color is a light aqua blue which is different than most other fire pits. It is heavy enough to be sturdy yet not so heavy you cannot move it. It also has cut out handles on the side for easy transport. And of course, a poker for stoking the fire.

Ok! This color is Beautiful!!! What a cute fire pit!! I squealed with excitement as my husband pulled it out of the box! For as large as it is, it’s Surprisingly lightweight. No real assembly was required. It was just a matter of putting the layers of grills on in the right order! The fire pit comes with a lid to close off the grilling portion of it when not in use. It also has a nice rain cover. We put it outside last night and I slipped the cover over it. Overnight we had a heavy thunderstorm and strong wind. I just knew the cover would be gone by morning. I was proven wrong! The cover was still snug and everything was dry!

This fire pit is outstanding in looks and function. We used it for The first time and everything went perfectly. The depth of the fire pit pan is rather shallow, so it’s very easy to light a fire And collect enough coals to grill the food. I started the fire with some newspaper and kindling and put on three small wood about 2inches in width. After 10-15 minutes Put on two logs about 5 inches in diameter. Let that burned down and within one hour 15 minutes had a nice pile of coals to make some burgers. I put the grill rack on, heated it up, and put the burgers on. I’d say the temperature over the coals was hot but not flaming. Put the Burgers on and cooked for about six minutes. Then turn them over for about another six minutes and they were perfect . My only complaint is that the burgers stuck to the grill. When I went to turn them with a spatula the Grill easily slid off it’s little ridge and I almost lost the burgers. I think the ridge that the grill sits and could be a little deeper or made somehow that it doesn’t slide so easily. Knowing that I’ll just be more careful. I must say those were the best burgers I have ever eaten. Cooked over the wood calls added so much flavor to the burgers (almost like they had bacon on them) so much better than the gas grill. Although it takes extra time to make the fire and grow the coals I think it’s definitely worth it. My husband and I sat outside at the table with a glass of wine and some cheese while we waited for the fire to die down a bit. With some french fries and salad it was perfect. ENJOY

This is simply amazing. Very well made, the extra rack for grilling and a cover. The color is beautiful and it's very stylish. Not the ordinary black fire pit. I'm so happy to have one.
