Great value
This oil is great quality and value. It has a sweet licorice-like aroma that is fairly long lasting. On its own, it can be a little sharp and overpowering, so I like to blend it with other oils to make a unique scent.

Good product
I have many of the NOW essential oils & love them. So many uses. If you are going to try essential oils, it is best to buy a book or get some sort of chart that tells you how to use them.

Although this anise oil, from Now, was okay, I preferred the previously available Anise from the same company. I am not sure why they changed the strain or anise but I hope you check my order before the last and go mback and get the other oil. Reasons: Scent is stronger, it washed out of clothes better, this one does stain, and it repelled insects much better.
