Love it. Guar gum is an incredible thickener. I use it as a binding agent for home made ice cream and wish I'd discovered it sooner. It takes so little to do so much. The best part is you don't have to use heat like corn starch or xanthan gum. This Now version is a great value too.

This item was hard to find locally. Wife using it in cooking recipes.

This is a great thickener for green smoothies. Good value.

I just started taking guar gum and I'm glad I found it. It's very slick which is a good thing. I take a level 1/4 measuring teaspoon guar gum on my tongue and I take a sip of water and let the guar gum soak in the water for 20 seconds without moving my tongue. The guar gem then floats or lifts up off of my tongue by itself and then I swallow it down with more water. For fiber, I also take 1/8 level cup of whole rye flour (rye speeds bowel transit time), 1 level iced teaspoon of dietary cellulose (breaks everything up) and 6 Swanson 300 mg capsules of apple pectin (congeals everything together).

I have been using Guar Gum for years. Works much better than corn starch for a thickner and is healthy way to cook. A little goes a long way.

I used Guar Gum when making a fat free salad dressing. It turned out perfectly.

Good substitute for xanthum gum (corn derived) which gives paleo baked goods their texture and 'stretch' that 'gluten' previously had supplied.
