[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me first start out by saying, different Manuka honeys taste very different from each other AND traditional honey. Traditional honey is generally sweeter without much floral or tangy flavor. Usually no bitterness. Manuka honey varies! I've had some that is terribly bitter and not much sweetness. Some is even hard to eat. This Manuka honey quite surprised me! While it isn't AS sweet as traditional, it does have a nice sweetness. It also has a mild floral and fruity like blend to it. Definitely much easier to consume than some I've had. The texture is less runny and sticky than traditional honey. It's more pasty like and not quite as smooth...but still tastes smooth and not at all gritty. Overall, I was very pleased with this. Though the flavor may not be quite as desirable as traditional, the health benefits of Manuka make it worth the switch in my opinion! I received this product for free for review purposes.
