Now Foods Monk Fruit Extract - 0.7 Ounces

I purchased this product because there wasn't any additives (like erythritol). However, I had never used Monk Fruit as a sweetener before, so I've had to use some trial and error when baking. For example, I wound up throwing away my first two efforts (mini yogurt "cheesecakes'), but was successful making fruit muffins by only adding 1/16 tsp of Monk Fruit to the recipe. Perfect. I am glad to have sweetener that has no calories and won't raise blood sugar levels.

Now brand is my go-to for monk fruit. The taste of this powder is excellent, but for me (a long time user of Now Organic Monk Fruit Sweetener liquid), it seems to take about 3x+ more than the serving scoop to get the sweetness I like. That may just be me & I'll have to wait to see how long the powder lasts. Still 5 stars for quality & taste!

I've had monk fruit extract powder in the past and didn't like the “off” taste it produced. I did some research and found out there are different levels of mogrosides in the product, which affect the taste. This extract is excellent, and while on the costly side, well worth it for the taste.

love monkfruit's delicious taste. feel that it's good to switch it up and not rely wholly on stevia. this larger quantity is much cheaper per ounce than other options. when it comes to serving size (which is teeny tiny) it is very much cheaper per serving than keto granulated options... and is pure and clean. love love love!

Excellent stuff. Unfortunate that it is getting to be too pricey.

It's just monk fruit with no other ingredients. That is so hard to find!

I have been trying to find a substitute for the Stevia (turns out it's not healthy either), AND, the Monk Fruit powder with nasty Erythritol that I used for years! Finally came across this simple OG Monk Fruit powder. I love it, and sometimes I mix it with a bit of OG Raw Blue Agave for certain foods needing a bit of juiciness. So happy to have found them both, but wish that my health food stores carried the powder for me!

The taste is so much nicer than pure stevia. I have been using pure stevia for 1 1/2 years and the amount used is a learning curve it can leave an after taste and is a very distinct sharp taste, overly sweet. This monk fruit has a fruity taste, balanced, smooth...no after taste. I liked getting a purple scoop so the powder is visible; the white scoop came with stevia which was hard to see. 4 stars due to the cost which is twice the price of pure stevia. If it was more affordable I would only use monk fruit and stop the stevia. Will have to keep an eye out for sale.
