Great product

After seeing a PBS show on brain health, I've been taking a single tablet every day of NOW FOODS DHA 500 for over 2 years. Each tablet is 1 inch long and 3/8" in diameter, so that's the bad news. The good news it that the product is distilled Omega 3 fish oil; you get 500 mg of DHA for the brain and 250 mg of EPA for heart health. I recommend ordering the product during cool weather as heat can cause the tablets to stick together; if this happens place in freezer over night and then slap the container to see if this will break lose the pills. To avoid a leaking pill from making other pills smell/taste fishy, when you receive product open bottle and spread pills out on a sided cookie sheet. If you see an air bubble in a pill that means you have a leaker; remove that pill and place it in a cup for first use; place good pills back in original container and store in the refrigerator to maintain freshness. I take the DHA 500 just before eating breakfast and have not experienced any fish burps by placing food on top of the pill. I consider myself to be a careful shopper and NOW FOODS DHA 500 is a best buy in the 180 tablet size; also, you can phone NOW FOODS and talk with a nutritionist about any of their products. I saw a recent study on getting rid of visceral fat. the study showed fish oil in a high enough quantity would help get rid of visceral fat. most fish oils are low in DHA this is one of the only ones I found with this high amount. I'm just going to keep on it since fish oils also good for the brain and the heart. they recommended in the study 2,000 mg a day of DHA

Great quality no after taste. I purchased because I needed to up the DHA. I take one a.m. and 1 p.m. Also they hve EPA bt I wated the DMA brainn boost!!

High quality supplement for great price. I have been taking this supplement for 5 years now. I don't burp fish oil and it is perfect for high dose supplementation to deal with inflammation.

Be aware, this supplement can lower very much your blood pressure like it happens to me. Use with caution!
