Cumin seeds are so versatile, so good in many cuisines and recipes, that having a bag of seeds rather than a little jar is a definite plus to this product. The seeds stayed mostly intact during packaging and shipping so their flavor is still strong and their aroma is wonderful. I wasn't sure if I liked the idea of spices in bags/pouches, but now I'm a fan. It's easier to scoop them out with measuring spoons, and you can eliminate a lot of the air in the bag so they stay fresh longer.

This cumin has a good fragrance that is warm and earthy. I used it sprinkled on cod and as an ingredient of a rub for barbecued steak and short ribs, and it was very flavorful. I also used it for a cumin and beef fried rice recipe that required toasting the cumin which brought out more wonderful aroma and flavor.

Cumin figures prominently in Indian, Asian and Mexican cuisines. These whole seeds come packaged in a resealable pouch. They were exceptionally fresh with the characteristic bold flavor. The quality was very good . The bulk of the seeds were whole. Completely satisfied.

A lot of dry herbs do not carry a pleasant scent. I am very happy with this purchase. I can see me using the cumin seeds to make a lot of dishes. I am planning on using them in our rice cooker to had a nice graviton the rice. I did grind down some of the seeds to make cumin powder as well. Cumin is a good go to in our house when we are throwing things together in the kitchen. Value wise you get a lot of seeds. Very good item for cumin enthusiasts.

Cumin powder came fast after I ordered. There're strong cumin smell came out when I open the bottle. They are fresh and smell very good. Cumin powder are the main spice for cooking lamb, I like to use it when marinate the meat. It will give meat great flavor. Also I use it as BBQ seasoning.

As soon as I opened the package I got a very strong whiff of cumin. These are obviously very fresh seeds, not something that's been sitting around in a warehouse for a year. I use a fair amount of cumin in making Mideastern, Chinese, and Mexican dishes and this is one I can definitely recommend.

The flavor is strong and tasty so you don't have to use a lot. You can smell the aroma as soon as you open the package. I added this to my beef when I was making tacos and it made it taste so much better than the one I have in my spice rack!

Natural plus green store's cumin seeds are good and taste as any other brand cumin seed. We could not find anything distinctive to justify the higher price (approx 7 bucks for 4 oz.), we find it much cheaper either in local ethnic or other stores, you get twice the quantity for same price. Cumin seeds are good for digestion and also add nice flavor to some traditional cooking in southeast Asia. There is no complain about the product quality and taste. However it marked up for what you get and hence it is a 3-star product for me based on 'less value for the money spent' criteria.
