NSG Tomahawk Toss - Foam Axe Throwing Game for Kids - Two Lightweight Axes with Large Easy Stick Target, Wood/Black/Red/Blue

NSG really out did themselves creating this Tomahawk toss axe throwing set for kids. I absolutely love the ingenuity that went into creating a safe and fun game for all ages. Setup is so easy simply hang it on a door or take it outside. Then when you're ready to store it away, it's completely compact enough to slip into a drawer or toy box. Just don't forget to fold the cloth target and put all the piece into the included carrying bag. The foam axes are wrapped in Velcro which allows the little ones to have fun and get a fair chance at the game. The large easy to read target board allows for accurate score keeping. It's a great game, but also a great way to teach children hand eye coordination. Take the game outside or play it indoors with the easy to hang harness attached to the back of the target. Either way it's a exciting fun way to relieve stress or spend time as a family. I highly recommend giving this s chance. You'll be glad you did and your children will be occupied for hours as long as they have a little competition to keep them busy.

This game is really fun! I have boys, so first off they were happy to be allowed to throw things in the house and then super excited when they stuck! I have 2, 4, and 9 year old boys. They all really loved this game! The box says ages 3+ and I would say that's accurate. My 2 year old doesn't understand the concept, but did like sticking it up there. He actually had some trouble getting them off sometimes, so they do stick well, which was my main concern. The tomahawks are a hard foam material with soft Velcro around the sides of the tomahawk, but not on the handle. Initially I was thinking it would be best to have it around the whole edge, but if thrown correctly, that isn't an issue at all. It even sticks if it lands on the sides where there is not Velcro. It does have a suction cup attached to the top to hang. I did not try to suction it anywhere. My suction cup was bent in half out of the box and it looks pretty cheap, so I don't think that is a good way to hang it up. Also, I don't really want my kids throwing things at my windows, which is where it would be if I hung it with the suction cup. Hanging it flat against the wall is best. We had it dangling for a little bit, but it was harder to get the tomahawks to stick that way. The only downfall is that I wish it had more tomahawks included. Maybe 3 of each color would be nice so you can keep the game going longer without having to keep removing them. It also comes with a bag to hold it all. You wouldn't believe that the target fits inside it, but if you keep “folding” and twisting it does become a small enough circle. I really have no helpful tips to explain how to do this, but it wasn't too hard for me to get it. Personally, I don't think I would be putting it back in the bag a lot. It will most likely hang in our playroom and stay there. All in all my kids are happy with it and so am I. I would recommend this game!

This is a really cute, kid friendly game. My seven year old daughter is having a lot of fun with it. You hang the little target somewhere and then throw the foam hatchets at the target. They're lined with Velcro that makes them stick to the target. It's a really cute game that's fun for everyone. I'm sure the kids will have fun with this one for a while.

This NSG tomahawk toss axes throwing set for kids is amazing! When I first received this set I was ecstatic because we're here quarantining here in Chicago so that means spending a lot of time at home with not much to do. We have so much fun anytime we throw axes at the Target. Also this set provided a ton of fun for my friends 9 year old and our 2 year old (as well as us adults) at our camping trip last weekend. The axes are lightweight foam, so when the stray axe hit my toddler it wasn't a big deal. Could be frustrating at times because you have to hit it just right for it to stick. But it still provided us with hours of entertainment

This is so much fun! The "board" pops open and can either be hung using the strap or suction cup. The fiam axes stick fairly easily. I do wish it came with more than two, but that's okay. Still lots of fun. Pur 4 year old twins and even our older kids got in on the fun! Includes a nice little carry bag for storage.

The target looks great and it's very lightweight and portable. It folds up nicely. The axes are pretty well made too.

Upon opening the box, the target unfolded nicely, it's the kind that has the wire around it so you can fold it for storage, but then twist it open and it pops up. Comes with two “axes”, one red and one blue. They are made of a heavy styrofoam, with black detailing on them to make them look like axes. Around the edges are Velcro strips, that help it to stick to the target of thrown with the right technique. The set comes with a suction cup secured to the target, so you could hang the target on a smooth surface, or, a hook that you can hang over a door. We used the over the door method, to be able to play inside. Once playing, it does get quite loud, everything the axe hits the target, it hits the door behind it and makes a loud bang- so not advisable to play during nap times. You have to throw the axe just right to get it to stick to the target, almost like a real axe throwing game. It's a basic game, my kids liked playing it too, not keeping score, but just in competition to make their axe stick. This game is fun to play, for a bit, but the kids lost interest after a while. Is adults kept track of score, and it was more entertaining. I would recommended- it's a fun, safe game that can be played indoors our out, and pretty much anywhere where you can stick or hang the target.

I'll start by saying this little set is made nicely. The velcro sticks great and is fun for kids. I know for adults the goal is to get the axe to stick but for the kids I would have put the velcro not only on the axe part itself but on the handle as well. They have a hard time getting. But like I said that is the point of the game. I also think they should include more axes than 2. At least 4 would have been better. Just minor preferences. Other than that this is a nice well made axe throwing game for kids. Size is perfect

This game is just as fun for the adults as it is for the kids! Nice and compact. Target pops out to full size. Two foam axes with velcro on the front and back of the blades. Has a cloth piece to hang from with a suction cup for smooth surfaces. Has a small metal over the door hook to hang it on a door. The cloth part that you hang it from was fraying and falling off of the target, so I had to fix it before it was usable. Axes stick easily and remove easily as well. Would recommend!

My kids have been playing with the NSG Tomahawk Toss Axe Throwing Set for Kids - Velcro Wrapped Foam Axes with 25 folding Target for about a week now. They really enjoy it but the connecting loop has already torn. It's still usable for now but I will have to fix it soon. The suction cup is strong and holds up for many games. The axes have the the right heft for accurate throwing. All in all a fun toy.
