I used to use this wax 'back in the day' before Consumer Reports Magazine ever rated it as a #1 wax, but I stopped using it. I only stopped using it because as time went on and other waxes started hitting the market, I decided to give those a try. However, as soon as I saw this rated in Consumer Reports as #1, I knew I had to go back to using it, because I trust their unbiased opinions about products. The wax is indeed a great wax! But, here's one tip for you when trying to remove the wax from your car after applying it. Use an Old World Automotive Flannel Duster Towel, and it will make removing the wax from your car a breeze! I would absolutely recommend this wax to my family, friends, and even co-workers! I hope this helps. Happy waxing! :)
Easy to spread; wipes off with ease, leaving a deep shine. Used it on our travel trailer, which is a huge amount of waxing. Did great on the fiberglass and decals.
Very pleased so far. Hope it performs as well over time as Consumer Reports claims.
I have used a lot of car wax and I find that Nu Finish is the best I have ever used. It goes on easy and brightens the car and the shine. I can't think of using anything else.
Easy on, easy off. It may not apply to you what looks like it is even but it will leave a polished even shine. My car is 12 years old and the paint had some large dull areas and the overall paint job looked dull and lifeless. I applied this product and the shine improved. I then would use it every other weekend and with each application the paint began looking better and better. The dull lifeless areas are no longer there just a great shine. I can use harsh soaps on my car body now and once rinsed the great shine returns. This is a keeper for me as it has brought new life to my auto paint job. I am not sure it will last an entire year but it has lasted throughout the winter months here in Southern California.
My favorite car polish. It doesn't wash off. Lasts for a year or more. I had to order it on line. They should stock it in the stores.
I tried this polish on a recommendation of a friend. It goes on easily and is simple to buff off. It makes my car shine nicely. My only complaint is that it is very soupy. It is very easy to spill, comes out of the can too easily. Also, you need a screwdriver or paint can opener to get the lid off. Otherwise, it is a good product.
Pros: goes on very easily with hand applicator, wipes off very easily, good shine (especially after buffed with electric buffer), does not stain plastic or trim, excellent Consumer Report review. Cons: 1) dries very fast. With the wax I used to use I could put on the wax and I had a minute or so to "work it in". It's difficult to do that with this wax because it dries so fast. 2) It was more difficult to apply this wax with an electric applicator that previous waxes I have used. Because it dries so fast and because of its consistency this wax is better applied by hand. Advice: Apply by hand. Work in small patches instead of an entire piece (ie, hood). If using an electric applicator apply the wax directly to the applicator, not to the car and then spread the wax.
The product I received had the consistency of cottage cheese, along with free water and was completely unusable.
Be careful when you order this. It was very hot when it was delivered and the paste turned to liquid as it obviously sat in a very hot car or truck before being delivered.!!!
