Capsule is too big for a kid to swallow..Not able to try it since it is very very difficult for a child to intake it

Thought they would be gummies, these are Large Pills(capsules). Most kids will not swallow them. My 9 year old opened the bottle and said no way. How they work ? Thanks for prompt and easy return.
