Wow, the silverware is very good quality! It is a lot heavier than I anticipated. Feels very solid and sturdy in my hands. The fork tines are very strong and the steak knives cut very well. I have received a number of cutlery sets from Walmart and I believe this one is my favorite.
Wow, very nice silverware set. First thing I noticed was how "beefy" "chunky" "heavy duty" they are. Each piece has a bit of weight to it. The stainless steel is very shiny and clean and smooth. There are 4 of each utensil and 6 unique utensils for a total of 24 pieces. Well worth the price. They appear black in the photos, but they're more of a very dark silver. I think they look very elegant. They feel nice and weighty to hold. They were packaged very neatly each in an individual plastic sleeve held together with a band and in a nice small box. I'll be using these daily once I get my new apartment. I'm extremely pleased with these!
The silverware is beautiful and it feels solid. I love the black color. Only time will tell if it keeps its color. I can't wait to switch out the old silverware.
I like these, but they are not as black as pictured. With that said, they seem to be of good thickness and not easily bendable. Hopefully they will last a couple years, but at this price not a huge deal if they don't.
This set came fairly quick but it's nothing fancy. Very simple and plain. Not as heavy duty as I was expecting for the price and what it looked like in the photos. It will serve its purpose though.
Let me start with the horrible shipping. It was shipped in a paper bag. No protective materials at all. I have shipped over 150K fragile Antiques all over the World. I would get a negative review for the packaging or lack of packaging on this order and a return if I had sold it. The inner product box was all damaged and two pieces were scratched due to the the forks rubbing on the spoons as there was literally no protective material at all to protect this over-valued set. No way this is worth near a hundred bucks... These are about $25 set to me. They do look cool and would have gotten at least a 4 star review had Wal-Mart shipped them properly. I mean un-qualified people working with your purchases is how they get damaged. Wal-Mart: USE a box and use some protective materials... Brown paper filler in a solid box would have been something, but in a brown paper envelope (not a bubble envelope) is just plain lazy. This is the sole reason I started leaving reviews in the first place. Over the course of two years I kept getting endless damaged items and past due food products. I feel like this is an HR problem. They need to start hiring better employees. I would have shipped these with full protective materials and if they seemed like there would move inside of the product packaging I would have used a small amount of filler to prevent that as they would surely get scratched or damaged. It is simple COMMON SENSE (and, I don't mean the book by Thomas Paine in 1776)... Buy at your own risk...
Not quite sure what to make of this silverware. I got them because I thought Goth forks and spoons would be kind of fun and they certainly are affordably priced. They're not a deep black color like I was expecting, in fact they seem to have some sort of coating on them like very thin, translucent black rubber. So, if you're looking for actual BLACK silverware these aren't for you. I'm going to use them and hopefully the coating doesn't wear off them but at this price if the coating comes off I'll just throw them away.
They are nice but the dark coating is missing a big spot on one of the spoons when I just opened it brand new, probably won't be long after using these that it will be off of the others, very happy that I only paid $20 for these. Like they say “you get what you paid for” lol
its not what ii seem on the picture is very poorly made to thin and discolored a little I will like to return it
for me im jot to happy with these. the finish seems to scrap off really easy and the edges are a little rough wlulsnt purchase again
