they seem sturdy as for as cleaning them is a breeze. not necessarily dishwasher safe as it can ware on the blades. the block came w a sharpener built in. making them sharp again is a walk in the park. comes w a bread knice for those loaves of bread to the scissors for cutting and steak knives. this set has you coverd. for the price it's a steal.

This is a great affordable, everyday use set. The black color is really sharp and goes eith everything. The set has every knife you could need. I personally love having the knife sharpner on the knife block. All knives get dull at some point so it's really nice to have. Out of the box these knives are sharp and ready to cut! I really like the handles too. They have a little bit of a grip design. If you can pick these at the sale price they are 100% worth it.

These knifes will last for a lifetime if taken care of. I will look good when I prepare my meals and make clean cuts. The bread onofe will cut even the hardest loaves. I really like them and they have a sleek black color.

This knife set is amazing,They are sharp and adds a beautifully to our countertop,The handles nice and cutting and holding them feel really nice,They are handwashing only,but not a problem,very easy to clean and nothing has stuck to them,We enjoy using them and the scissors are amazing as well,and the price for them are wonderful for this product,They look feel like they should cost so much more than what we paid for them

Really happy with this knife set. The knives look great, feel sturdy, and cut very well for everyday kitchen use. I also like that the block keeps everything organized and that they are dishwasher safe, which makes cleanup easy. Overall, a great set for the price.

These knives are actually sharper than I thought they would be especially due to the price, I needed them and was just hoping for ok. They definitely past my expectations. I always think the true test is cutting up a ripe tomato, I did that and they did not let me down. I tried most of the knives on that tomato, all cut very well but a bit different after all they are different knives foe different uses. Love the scissors as they are also sharper than and better than the pair I have. Love the sharpener but really don’t need that yet and hopefully for a long time, recommend!!

Only issue I have is the steak knives are serrated. I just don't like them serrated. It takes away from the pleasure of slicing a nice steak. But that's just me. TY

This is a nice little starter set. They are fairly sharp--not so sharp that you cut yourself. I like that they are mostly ergonomic, balanced weight. I think it's a nice quality for the money, especially with the built-in knife sharpener. The dark color blade is way cool. Don't set it down on anything black like a black stove top that makes it difficult to see. I don't personally like to put anything with plastic handles in the dishwasher as it shortens the life of the handle. My favorite is the Santoku knife. The vents make potatoes easier to not stick to the blade.

The blades are soft and easily get nicked with normal cutting. The black coating peels off quickly, even when hand washed. The built-in sharpener makes a weird noise and doesn’t sharpen effectively. The knife block looks nice but is poorly made. I expected much better for a kitchen knife set. Do not recommend.
