nuLOOM Hand-Woven Rigo Jute Area Rug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the 9x12 jute rug for a family room. It is perfect for the space and warms the room. We decided to layer the jute rug with a smaller 8x10 shade rug and the textures bring a level of sophistication to the room. We decided it looks better on the under side because the front has a bordered rope, which we felt looked a little tacky. Since we used the underside, there was the sticker tag that was on the corner and quite difficult to remove. Since it's jute, it sometimes does stretch in certain places where furniture is on, so I recommend getting a rug mat to secure placement. Other than that, we're very satisfied with this rug.

I'm happy with the purchase and in fact made another rug purchase yesterday. I can't speak to the durability, but it feels and looks like a well made quality rug

The rug looked great in the ads but I was very worried about how it would feel to the touch. Well the children incuding a crawling baby and the two couch potato dogs approve. The kids play on it and the dogs lay all over it. It is soft underfoot. We love it. It gives such a relaxed coastal vibe to our house at such a great price point. No major spills or dog barf yet so can't address clean up. The rug and pad shipped right away and were delivered without problem and lay flat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's just like the picture, light color with beautiful texture. Looks great on a light hardwood floor for a boho look. I also got the rug pad but I don't think it's necessary with the larger rug sizes.

The color was a little different than expected but it is growing on me. It is more creamy with yellow undertones. It smelled horrible when we first unpacked it but within a few days the smell went away. We purchased the 8x8, the sizing was perfect for our breakfast nook! There are pieces which are brown that make it look dirty. This rug sheds, ALOT. I didn't return because it would have been a hassle but it is growing on me.

I purchased 3 rugs for our new home from here. Two of them are great but this isn't working for us. This one was intended for our kitchen. The appearance of the jute looks good and all, however the shedding is just unbearable. I have tried sweeping and vacuuming but the shedding knows no end. I even had to replace an expensive filter on a brand new Shark vacuum cleaner. The tiny black fibers are everywhere in my house. It's so bad that, we don't let our toddlers walk anywhere near the kitchen. After 2 months, I just can't deal with it anymore and will probably just get rid of it because it's not letting me enjoy doing anything in my kitchen.

Stains ALL OVER the rug and wood chips sewn throughout it. I can't believe they actually sent something of this quality to a customer… the rug belongs in the trash, yet they're making me send it back, probably to send to someone else who buys it. Please beware!!!!! Nightmare of a experience.

The rug arrived in terrible shape. Its unwoven in the corners and has pieces that are frayed around the boarder. There is also a section that isn't even braided together, so you can pull it apart. Very disappointed as this is my first purchase from this site. My “new” replacement rug looks much worse than my old one.

a lot darker than expected, was full of bugs and smelled like cigarette smoke. Had to return it and pay for the return. Not a good way to do business.
