I would highly recommend you have this item before you give birth. My baby scratched up his beautiful face the first day he was born. By the time I left hospital and came home and placed this order I was exhausted by my use of socks for both his hands and feet and making extra laundry.

I love these mittens but I did not get them for a baby. I have a 30 pound dog who had sores on his feet from allergies. I put these mittens on his feet, secured them with elastic tape and he was good to go outside, and when I applied his medicine to the wounds, I would slip the mittens on his feet and they provided a barrier to keep him from licking his paws, and it kept the ointments and cremes off the flooring and furniture. They are nice and thick, and he didn't mind them one bit. (Btw, the sores healed very well using this method).
Best mitten I've ever purchased! So worth it, they actually stay on and fit so well. they're thick so keeps my baby's hands warm! Love love these mittens!!!
Bought these for my newborn and they are the best mittens she has! They are a thicker material so they stay on her hands better than her other mittens.
Bigger than usual mittens but thick and good quality. Specially for cold weather.
