Nutiva Organic Manna - Coconut , 15 Oz

Especially in its 'sweet spot', when the substance is workable without any effort -- i.e. 60-80 degrees F. It's a wonderfully satiating but light sweet treat when spread in crevice of celery stalk; or spread over a bread or baked good if that's more you. The 'meat' in the texture is what I seek. Also have conveniently mixed in water to make a little bit of coconut milk when I wouldn't be using a whole can/box if I opened that; and, nice simply added in to a smoothie when blending. Yum!

I love both chocolate and almond manna from Nutiva, eat them just from the pouch with a tea or water. My husband started to enjoy them as well, he puts manna on his waffles every morning. I forgot when I haven't got them in my house. Just 1 gram of sugar per serving size is awesome as well! Thank you, Nutiva!

This product taste really good, the application in the pouch is something not really desirable. Even running this under hot water there seems to be lumps which won't work out with repeated massaging. Het the ouch too warm and oil comes out first. I like that it isn't too sweet, and there are no artificial taste or after taste. I used the chocolate as a spread over rice cakes, and it was good, however it is easy to over do.

What a lovely taste and texture! I wish it was a little thicker but I have never had coconut manna before so when others mention it is like peanut butter I was a little disappointed. However that does not stop me from LOVING the taste and now I have to limit myself to just a tablespoon at a time! I do use it in recipes calling for chocolate and oil - makes scrumptious brownies!

I live in a cold winter climate (Wisconsin) which probably plays a part in my initial review of this product, so I am going to try solving this issue on my own to see if it helps. I actually love the product itself, just not the usability of it in the pouches it comes in. So I will improvise & see if I can make it easier to use by running it under warm water while I knead the pouch. Hoping this will work, even though this is a minor inconvience. Next time I will order this product during the warm/hot months of the summer!!

Not a fan of this product. Have only used the chocolate flavor, but it is much too difficult for me to use because it is too solid to knead the pouch where it is soft enough to use.

Extremely sub-standard! I don't know if I received a bad batch, but these do not meet the standard that I am accustomed to from Nutiva. I usually buy the original and wanted to try the other flavors. "They have the consistency of coloured oil." I thought they had to be refrigerated, they were so runny. but then they turned rock solid once removed from the refrigerator. I want to order the original but I don't feel that I should pay a shipping fee as I am utterly dissatisfied with this product. If this is the correct recipe, I think it should be revised.
