The vet recommended this for our cat who has FIV. It is small enough to easily give to the cat, and we just follow it with a treat, so he takes it pretty well. It gives his liver the support necessary to keep him from having FIV symptoms most of the time. We love this product!
My dog has always had elevated ALT levels. Recently her ALT levels escalated from the 200's to the 400's which prompted me to start her on Denosyl and Marin. After 3 months of being on Denosyl and Marin her ALT levels have returned to the 200's. I have high hopes that her levels will dip into the normal range after a few more months on Denosyl and Marin.
I wrote a review already which was a few months after starting this product in conjunction with Marin. My dog had ALT levels which had risen from 200's to 400's. After a year on Denosyl and Marin, she has the best liver tests she has ever had! Her ALT has dropped to 140 which is slightly outside the normal range for younger dogs, but she is 15 yrs old and therefore she is in the normal range for her age. This product is excellent and I attribute her normal ALT levels to the use of Denosyl and Marin which I always purchase from Smartpak.
My Aussie was diagnosed with Lupus 6 years ago. The meds he takes does damage to his liver. Since starting Denosyl 2 years ago his liver tests are back to normal adding years to his life.
has really helped my older scotty - thought she had cushings - similar, but not. this has kept her going, and maintaining her levels very well
Exactly the same tablets prescribed by the veterinarian but less costly and no need for a trip to the vet.
another great product to help out four legged loved ones to help with liver function.
