This product actually works. I applied it immediately, to our dog, and within hours, our pet was not scratching. Totally amazed. It is easily applied on the dogs back, between it's shoulders, on the skin. Just try it for yourself and be amazed. It is a ONCE A MONTH application/dosage.

Nutri Vet Defense for Dogs - This is an excellent product in that it kills and "repels fleas, ticks, mites, lice and mosquitoes. Very Important is that it also Prevents the Re-Infestation for Flea & Ticks. Great that it is an all in one product. My box contained 3 tubes - 3 month supply. Many products are out there and some very expensive ones that don't do the entire job that this one does. Have used this product on my dog now for 2 weeks -seems to be working very well. ** The box states --Kills and Repels Mosquitoes, Lice & Mites for up to 4 weeks. Kills, prevents re infestation of ticks up to 6 weeks. ..and Kills, repels& prevents re infestation of fleas for up to 5 weeks. ** My little fur guy has very sensitive skin and some products I have bought only to immediately wash it off him because he's gets a reaction right away-- red inflamed skin and left on if not caught right away -it becomes so annoying to him that he starts shaking his head -ears flopping and I know - doesn't agree with him -another bath to wash it all off. This product has worked well -no bad allergic type reactions. I do recommend this brand. Does the job well. Excellent!!

Nutri-vet Defense for small dogs contains three 0.05 applications of permithrin. Each vial kills, repels and prevents re-infestation of fleas for up to 12 weeks. Nutri-Vet treats 11-32 pound small dogs for fleas, ticks, mites, lice and mosquitoes. It should be applied to your pet between the shoulder blades once per month. I would suggest wearing gloves while handling the vials.

I have an 11 pound pooch that i have used the expensive stuff I get from my vet since we rescued him a few months ago. I used the last of my vet flea and tick med last month and used Nutri-Vet K9 Defense for Dogs Flea & Tick and More Small 11 Pounds to 32 Pounds this month. It went on with no problems and did not smell or have an odor. You just spread the fur and empty the vial between the shoulder blades. My pooch did not have any problems or symptoms from the medication. We live in south Florida and have a year long problem with fleas and ticks so it is very important to keep our pets bug free. We do not have a problem with our own yard but walk him as least twice a day and take him to parks and the dog beach several times a month. I did not find any ticks yet but I did see a flea on him last week. I never saw any fleas or ticks with the Vet medication so I am just a little disappointed with Nutri-Vet K9 Defense for Dogs Flea & Tick and More. He was not infested but it did not keep a flea off him and if exposed to more fleas I'm afraid it would not hold up to the other meds. If he didn't leave our yard I think this would be fine but out and about as much as we are this might not be the best flea and tick for us.

i have a small yorkie - he is 8 pounds - so i didn't use the entire vial of the treatment on him because i didn't know how that effect him. we have a large back yard that backs up to the woods so we always like to make sure he is using something to repel ticks and fleas and this seems to be doing the job! we have not had a problem with anything. he hasn't come inside itching and scratching so it seems to be doing it's job very well and is supposed to repel and prevent an infestation for up to 6 weeks so we will continue to use it.

I have a Sheltie with lots of hair and didn't have any problems applying this. She's an inside dog that goes out a lot so I got this as a precautionary measure. It seems to be working. I've never found any fleas or ticks. The price isn't bad for a three month supply.

We don't have a great deal of problems with fleas as we have an enclosed yard and no other animals can get inside except a stray rabbit or squirrel. Although we border on woods and fields,it is rare that we encounter ticks, which are potentially dangerous to humans as well as to my dog. However, it is better to have a preventative than have to deal with an unwanted problem that is unnecessary. The Nutrivet Defense is a very convenient way to solve any of these types of flea/tick problems. No messing with contrary collars which could come off unexpectedly and cause possible problems on their own. There are still occasional baths, but that is for cleanliness, not fleas. My dog is primarily an “inside dog” outside for necessary business and recreation, so I don't want even a little chance of a flea infestation or just a few that could go by undetected. If my dog is protected, I feel that my home is also protected, promoting my peace of mind. One package has three months supply in 3 individual vial type containers. Ridiculously easy to apply even on an active,curious dog.

I tried this on my dog and it seems to be working. I usually use other name brands but thought I'd give this a try. I try not to use Flea treatments because I know some are not safe but sometimes it's absolutely necessary. Especially where I live out in the country and my dogs love going to the river and don't want ticks or fleas getting on them.

I bought this to try and it does not work. I bought all 3 sizes cause I have 3 dogs 3 different weights. I bathed them to get kill all the fleas and dry them and then put this on them,also washed and treated their beds and areas. The fleas return in no time. I would not recommend these.
