A great alternative for skin cuts %26 abrasions.
I like how it works on my cuts %26 scratches. They heal up very quickly and it's not as greasy as some of the other products.

I love this grapefruit seed salve. It treats dry skin itches, soothes lips, and helps skin cuts. I've used it for years and will always keep it handy. Buying through Walmart is most convenient.

Good as Lip Balm, Not for Cold Sores
Fine for casual protective use against cold weather, dry winters, etc. However, I wouldn't recommend it as sufficient help with warding off cold sores. Although the ingredients are good, nothing about using this stood out as helping me with my perpetual all-year cold sore issue. Good as lip balm but had no medicinal/herbal benefit for me that I could tell.

Contains lysine
This ointment actually contains lysine. To my surprise, other lysine ointments only contain menthol. Great for cold sores.
