Love these! Solid, and very flat surface. They heat up fast on electric range. Don't use high heat settng. There is no teflon or other forever-chemical non-stick surface coating, you need to pre-treat these like you would with cast iron to obtain that 'non-stick surface' (easy directions included). Also love the matching glass lids.
I already had one Nutri Chef pan and I'm so impressed I ordered another one in 8"". You just can't believe how great these pans are! I can use metal, wood, silicone, plastic or whatever utensils I need and they DO NOT scratch. I usually refuse to use anything but stainless but it can be incongruent with certain foods. I can cook a pancake, egg or omelette and they do not stick!
I love this fryer. I bought the 12 inch and it's huge and deep. Solid build. I wouldn't recommend metal utensils but it would be capable of withstanding light usage. Heats up very fast and evenly. Non stick is excellent though I would use some oil to cook eggs. Cleaning is effortless. Excellent value and easy to use
I love these pans. If you're looking for an option that is not a PFAS/PFOS nonstick, but easier to work with than traditional stainless steel, this is your bet! The pan is easy to clean and heats evenly. A few things might stick to the bottom when cooking (like cheeses) but it comes right off with washing. It's a solid, heavy weight pan and the lid fits well.
Great cookware! I have two sets of these pans bought about three years ago. I love them. I never seasoned mine but just started using them on low to medium heat. The more I use them the more stick resistant they become. I have read several complaints stating they don't do well with scrambled eggs. The best pan I have found for scrambled eggs is the Cuisinart 10 in. crepe pan. They just don't stick to it.
pot is 5"" high 10 inches wide. not 7"" high. Disappointed but I am going to keep it. It does have the honeycomb on the bottom unlike the other pot like this I ordered.
I was pleasantly surprised at how well each pan was individually wrapped in a bag and lids were in bubble wrap and a bag. The measurements are correct for the rim of each pan but the cooking surface is smaller. They are advertised to use metal utensils but the paperwork included with the set says ""Do Not Use Sharp or Metal Utensils on the Non-Stick Surface"" Which was a main reason for the purchase, for this I gave 4 stars. Time will tell how well it holds up.
1. Someone else said in their review (and I paid special attention when seasoning) that the non-stick coating appeared to be coming off. Following directions, I washed with soap and water and dried. I then heated the pan and used oil until it began to smoke off. I removed the pan and wiped with a dry towel. The towel had specks of the coating on it. I repeated, this time being more aggressive with dish-soap and nylon brush, and got the same result. I repeated the more aggressive scrubbing again, and got the same result. 2. At this point, I had all my food prepped and I was like, ""Well, I'll just try it and see. "" This is when I remembered another review , ""It works with induction cook tops, buuuuuuut…. "" Yes, but the bottom is only flat for about 7"" (to interact with the magnetic field) so the pan really doesn't heat fully or evenly. To it's credit, the nonstick coating was pretty good, I washed with just water (as directed, using soap requires reasoning) and it did just wipe clean. I used 3 and 4 heat settings (as it says not to use high heat and to use oil). The thing is, when I wiped with the towel to dry the pan… more specks of coating were clear evident. I'm not interested in eating this pan coating, so at that point I decided to return the product.
Very disappointed with this product. We used it a few times and the food sticks every single time, no matter what we try. It defeats the whole purpose of buying it. Definitely not recommended.
I'm super disappointed in this set of cookware. My husband is a great cook and has been doing it for almost 55 years. He's had lots of pans that were ""non stick"", only use low heat, hand wash only, or must season the pan first sets, so he knows his way around a pan. We've only used this set 3 times and every time the food has stuck to the pan. We did everything the instructions told us to do and they still stuck. Btw…it says ""Dishwasher safe in the description on Pyle but the description from the manufacturer says ""Hand wash only"" Big difference, very misleading. We'll be junking this set and purchasing an actual non stick set.
