After reading so many negative reviews on the taste of this product, I was so struggle with the purchase. Because of I simply need it to boost my workout, I decided to give it a try AND I AM SO HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE!!! I really don't know why people say that it is awful in taste! It both works and tastes very well. I will definitely buy it again!
I love nutricost products, they are great quality and descently priced. I would like to see these BCAA's with natural sweeteners vs sucralose, still a great product.
New favorite company for BCAA. I was a little skeptical buying from a company named Nutricost but for the price and servings, you can't beat it. The grape flavor was really good as well almost like a bubble gum grape.
I've gotten about 8 of these over the last few years. It taste great, might be a little sweet, but also helps one knock back 30 ounces of water just because it is so good. I noticed two orders ago something changed. The powder wasn't as crystalized, and when mixed was cloudy. It taste the same but didn't seem to mix as well...you could see the particles still in the water, they simply won't dissolve. I was thinking maybe I got a batch that wasn't mixed well or something. A couple days ago, I got another one and same thing... It really does taste good but not sure if the quality has dropped. When something doesn't dissolve also makes me thing it isn't dissolving in my body. Not the most scientific statement but something has changed. Hope it gets fixed or maybe the manufacturer will address it in this review. **Quick edit.. just read a number of other reviews, they have changed the mix and reduced the BCCAs from 8 grams to 6. Won't be buying again, have no doubt they had a loyal customer base and reduced the quality without telling anyone to make extra money. not cool.
Great product but the lid doesn't screw on for a tight fit. When I grab it by the top it totally comes off, almost spilled it a couple of times. That would be a huge mess of powder to clean up. :-(
I have used 3 brands of BCAA's. They all served their purpose as far as I can tell. But, of the 3 brands, this brand has a distinct offensive smell. Smells nothing like a chemical, but rather something more similar to a human body odor. Whenever I opened it around another person, I always get asked "what was that smell" question. Because of that, I didn't rebuy this brand and went on to my 3rd brand. Which, like said above, did not have that odor issue.
Really hard to take this, even mixed with juice or a protein shake. It smells awful and tastes terrible. I've taken glutamine and creatine which taste like nothing or a little 'chemically' but this stuff tastes rancid.
This has been reformulated or something and I'm Very disappointed. Not only is it a different taste and color (which is not as good btw) but it also has additives, including Silicone Dioxide. I first began using nutricost for it's clean and minimal ingredients, but after this change, probably to save money on production costs, I will definitely not be repurchasing. Please go back to the original formula of you want to keep your customers.
Absolutely God awful taste. Thought I was going to throw up. And the smell of the powder is nauseating. I consumed this twice and both times I felt sick and like I had Vertigo and was off my equilibrium. Not kidding, I felt terrible. Took me two days to get back to normal. After I stopped taking it, I figured out it was this stuff. I'd give this no stars if I could, but the seller was very good and delivery was fast. But the BCAA's are terrible. I'm never touching Nutricost again.
I took 1.5 scoops and mixed with diet cranberry juice. In less than 1 min I broke out into a sweat. So I had to empty my stomach before anything else happened. There is clearly caffeine or something else in this product to cause such a reaction.
