Well, for me, they work fairly well, but I am still in the process of exploring its ability.

I have known for quite a while what Bromelain is supposed to do. Problem was, nobody actually gave useable instructions. But now I have the correct instructions. Take 4 capsules before bed, on an empty stomach (with enough water to get them into your stomach). During the night the enzyme cleans proteins out of your joints, spine and other places. If I take Bromelain, I wake up in the morning with my sciatic nerve and legs NOT hurting. This process will use water, so you will be thirsty in the morning. Or maybe even wake up during the night with a dry mouth and throat. So keep water handy. No smell in my bottle.

Because a friend swears by bromelain, I use it every day but can not tell any difference in my condition. The problem with this brand is the taste. The gel capsule material has a bad taste. The other brand I have used does not.
