Great way to get high doses
I was told this is a great way to get buffered Vitamin C and also in high doses. So far so good! Love how much bang for your buck you get.

Capsule it or mix with another powdered supplement and mix before adding water
Does not mix well clumps together. It needs to be put in capsules I did like the price per serving I have discovered through trail and error that if I put it will psyllium powder and slim fast in a jar with lid and shake before adding milk that it does not clump.

My jar's content wouldn't dissolve in dilute orange juice
Strangely and sadly, my Jar's Nutricost 'calcium ascorbate' formed a clump when stirred into my somewhat dilute orange juice, unlike the many well-dissolved 'calcium ascorbate' brands I've used for 23 years - except for 'rose hip formulations'. So returning it, and I'm back to my other brand even with a slightly imperfect tasste.

Not what I expected
I was looking to replenish my powdered buffered Vitamin C, which is also known as calcium ascorbate. Nutricost's container did not list any amount of Vitamin C, which is usually the largest proportion of this supplement, with the amount of calcium per dosage listed as the other ingredient. This jar said it was 100% calcium, as calcium ascorbate. I am not a chemist. I do not intend to take this, because I don't know what it is. I will donate it to the food bank, and get something else. My fault.
