Nutricost Chelated Iron Supplement, As Ferrochel, 36mg, 240 Capsules

These iron supplements are small and easy to take. I don't notice any of the terrible iron taste that most iron supplements have. I wish they included vitamin C to help with absorption, so I didn't have to take another pill, but when I do these have helped increase my iron levels. I highly recommend these for the ease of use, effectiveness, and speed of delivery.

Had problems with low hemoglobin. Iron tabs would cause constipation etc. You know the story Anyway read about chelated iron. No longer have constipation. Hemoglobin back to 13.0 Almost a miracle

I like this iron because it is easy on my stomach and it absorbs well. I am having good results from it. I recommend chelated iron if you have stomach irritation from other iron. I like this product especially because it does not have any side effects for me.

I'm pregnant and at the end of my 2nd trimester, The blood test results showed that I was anemic...RBC 3.56 Hemoglobin 11.3 Hematocrit 33.1 After 3 weeks taking this product... RBC 3.95 Hemoglobin 12.4 Hematocrit 37.5 No nausea or constipation! I take it with vitamin c(1000mg) to raise the absorption as well so if you don't see an ideal result, I would recommend taking it with vitamin c! When my doctor diagnosed me as anemic, she recommended 100mg iron a day. I had taken other types of iron before and knew they upset my stomach, so I knew I needed Chelated Iron. I hate taking pills. Most iron pills are less than 30mg a day. These are 36mg, which means I only have to take 3, not 4, of them per day. They leave no nasty taste in the mouth, don't upset my stomach, go down easy. The price can't be beat.

my iron level is 7 dangerously low. Doctors office is supplying me with Chelated Iron, As Ferrochel, 27mg, 120 Capsules for $15.00 I take 3 daily. Do the math here I get 36mg 240capsules now I take 2 caps daily, twice the qty, at the same price. This is a best buy.

Didn't see the same results with this as others.

I bought this because the Dr. said I needed to supplement my Iron. Well many months of taking this very faithful. My blood work shows nothing to suggest I took This product. I was very proud thinking I was doing good. Instead health going the other way. I take over the counter vitamins. never a problem. rice flour veggie capsule hpmc which is hyrodxypropy methylcelose. and vegetable magnesium. I am checking all my online vitamins.

I am anemic, I take a lot of iron and to avoid real black tarry stool I take some of it in Chelated form. I had been using a Chelated iron product from a local pharmacy. They revamped the pharmacy and that product went away. I bought this as a replacement but it did not work for me even though the dosage was somewhat higher than what I had been taking. So, I returned the product and continued my search. I believe I have found one that is working for me now.
