My iron was consistently low and I knew I needed a supplement. Iron normally makes me constipated but this type doesn't have negative effects. In addition it's in a capsule. I take it at night with manderin oranges apart from my calcium to increase absorbency.
After my blood test, the doctor said I was iron deficient. He told me I need to start an iron supplement and wanted to take another blood test two weeks later. I took these for about a week before, and my iron levels were back to the max recommended range for a man my size and age. I take them regularly since I have lab-based proof they work.
This form of iron is more easily absorbed. I has been required to have iron infusions because of anemia. The Doctor treating this did not think the iron bisglycinate would be absorbed by my body. We both found out that assumption was incorrect. He was pleasantly surprised when my iron levels were normal. We both leraned a lesson.
This is an excellent iron supplement that is easy on the stomach unlike most other iron supplements. The capsule is relatively small so it should be very easy for most people to take. I highly recommend this product for those who are needing additional iron. Plus, this item has a very good pricing point.
Love this brand of supplements because everything they sale goes through 3 party testing. I only buy this brand of supplements for that reason %26 reasonable prices
This product is a valuable iron supplement. The iron bisglycinate formula reduces common GI side effects. I take it myself and recommend it to my patients. Dr. T.
I just bought a new bottle of iron, and it definitely wins on price. It's the best value I've found so far!
Using 100mg per day (with Vit-C) before bed to increase ferritin levels with no complications that other forms of iron may carry.
Ive tried many iron pills over the years but they gave me severe stomach pains. Ive been using this brand for a month and have no problems
I couldn't take these long enough to see if they work really good as far as bringing my iron up in my lab results because the taste of the capsules is so horrible that I was literally having to chase it down with a strong soda to try to cover the horrible taste. I wish I could give this a good review, but after just a few doses, I have had to order another brand because I cannot even finish this bottle.
