Nutricost Marine Collagen Peptides Powder 8oz Supplement

I was surprised at how easily this product dissolved into my coffee, AND there was no taste at all. Marine collagen is supposed to be really good for us, so I'm all in on this made-in-the-USA product! Thank you, Walmart!

This is exactly what I have been looking for! It does have a very, very slight marine type flavor to it, but seeing as I drink it in my strong enough to walk on its own coffee, lol, I dont notice it much. Most importantly it doesnt upset my stomach, which is a huge issue with most collagens. I am waiting to see if it helps with hair growth and joint issues, cross your fingers!

Glad to know that this has no fishy taste or aftertaste. It's collagen from wild-caught salmon. Not sure which part is collagen in salmon but wherever they took it from doesn't have that distinctive salmon taste or smell. One big scoop dissolves quite easily in liquid. Just keep stirring it for awhile. Or much easier, blend it. My husband adds this to his various protein shakes. And sometimes fruit smoothies. It's different than collagen from beef but the collagen health benefits seem to be the same.

I mix collagen with my morning bullet proof coffee. After a couple months of collagen use I feel a bit less creaky in my knees and hips. Nutricoast works well because it is tasteless and adds a nice creamy head to my morning drink. It is single sourced from cod so if you don't want beef or chicken in your diet this is a good choice. It is a bit pricey at about a buck per serving. One container is 23 servings.

I didn't really perceive any noticeable flavor or odor to this supplement. I prefer fish collagen because it is absorbed easily. It also dissolves very easily, making it easy to add to drinks. We add it to our Matcha every day. I don't have any pain, so I can't comment on the reported pain relief, but I have noticed stronger nails, skin, and hair. We will definitely be ordering more!

I've been taking collagen for a while, and this is a great supplement. I normally use grass-fed bovine sourced collagen, but I do realize that there are pescatarians for whom bovine is an unacceptable compromise of their dietary regimen. This is an excellent alternative for such individuals. It is made from the scales of wild-caught Alaskan cod, and nutritionally has basically the identical function and outcome as bovine sourced collagen. Free flowing and easy to use. No particular taste.

I have been taking the Nutricost Marine Collagen with part of my morning fruit smoothie. I mix the Nutricost with a little water to dissolve it and add it to about 1/3 of my smoothie. I drink this. It has no flavor at all. I wouldn't know it was in the smoothie except for a few errant clumps that didn't get mixed. I then finish my smoothie. Since it is impossible to really say what the protein powder is doing for me, it would be purely anecdotal, I won't address that. I take take for granted that it is adding protein to my diet.

This is an excellent quality collagen powder; I detected no odor whatsoever when I opened the container and it mixed well in hot coffee. I have found that collagen powders mix more thoroughly into liquids when I use a tiny whisk brush instead of a spoon, it prevents clumps from forming. I have used collagen powders in the past and know that there are very different levels of quality; the best quality collagen products have no scent or taste whatsoever and they are the most expensive. Obviously, the brands that have no scent or taste are much more pleasant to use, hence the price. This Nutricost collagen is an excellent choice, it's created from a healthy source of Alaskan fish and has all the best qualities of a great collagen powder supplement. I recommend it!

For years, I have struggled with joint pain and puny fingernails. I work a lot with my hands, and my nails tend to split and tear pretty frequently. When I learned that collagen is the secret ingredient for growing healthier nails, skin, and hair, I was stoked! A friend of mine had lost so much cartilage in her knees, she was in constant pain with bone rubbing on bone. A doctor told her about collagen, and it actually helped her cartilage grow back. I started to add it to my diet and saw immediate results with stronger nails. My hair grows thicker, stronger and quicker, too. I am waiting on the joint pain to decrease, but it's apparently too early to see those results. Unlike the chocolate flavored collagen powder I tried previously, this is pure collagen that is unflavored, so I can add it to anything. I expected it to taste fishy, since it's made from wild-caught cod, but it does not. It blends well with any beverage. The manufacturer recommends a shaker bottle, but I don't have one, so my weapon of choice is a fork or whisk. You can also see excellent results using a blender. I'm not entirely pleased with the cost. At almost $25 for 1/2 pound, I think it's a bit steep. However, there are 23 servings in each container, so I guess you could look at it like you are paying a dollar a day for healthier skin, hair and nails, and eventually more cartilage and less pain.

I mix this in my veggie smoothie before workouts and it has been great. It takes a long time to notice a difference but I've noticed less achiness in my joints post-exercise. I haven't had any negative reactions and the price is reasonable for wild-caught fish. I just wish the company was more open about their sourcing on the package.
