Nutricost Niacin (Vitamin B3) Powder 250 Grams - 1G Per Serving

Great product and the price.

Buying from Walmart.com is so convenient! I have been very pleased with the Nutricost products and the Niacin is also very good. I add Niacin (Vitamin B3) to my daily water intake. Of the various Niacin forms, this does cause a Niacin flush but that's part of the benefit. There is a long history of well-documented clinical research from practicing medical doctors establishing the many benefits of Niacin. (I take about 3,000 mg daily.)

This product is definitely a bang for your buck and I just added it to a bottle of water shake and go! It kinda gave me a tangy taste. Last don't over do it I did half of a scoop because a scoop was to much for me!!! Had my skin tingling and itchy and as chocolate as I am my skin was blush!!!

Actually bought to use on a heavily pregnant goat prone to large litters and pregnancy toxemia and while it hasn't completely prevented her from testing positive for pregnancy toxemia it has made a HUGE difference. I know this because I forgot to give her the dose one morning and her ketone levels were through the roof that night. Super thrilled Niacin was recommended to me. If anyone is wondering goat will be retired from breeding because we don't want to tempt fate again but so grateful to be getting her through this pregnancy.

I have Toulouse Geese I raise and my Lucy had become Niacin deficent. She had stopped getting up and walking so I ordered this product and proceeded to give her two scoops of powder by mouth daily and helping her help to walk some. Within 4 days of the Niacin and me getting her up walking twice a day she is now back to her self and walking on her own again.

Excellent product and works as researched if you have done your home work. Unfortunately some reviewers do not understand how to gradually introduce niacin into their daily use and would do themselves good by doing this research before use. Please do yourself a big favor and understand the flushing that is first experienced is normal. Once you introduce it on a regular basis the flushing goes away for the most part but understand the flushing is a very good thing. That is why you start with a very low dose so that your body doesn't totally freak out and you are not caught off guard emotionally. Try researching flushing from niacin at orthomelecular.org or Dr. Saul on youtube and or his book on Niacin ,and there are many more resources available.. Once again, this product does what it is suppose to do and I've been using if for just over 3 years now.

Dissolving difficult-Why? I've let it sit in warm water, then blended, then sit some more and stir. Company does not respond to multiple phone calls. I've read one reviewer who consulted a chemical database that indicates Niacin requires hot water to dissolve. I would appreciate hearing from company as to whether hot water will affect the Niacin and if this is their recommended method for dissolving their product. The product does produce a flush once you get it to dissolve, but really, should it be this difficult?
