Well, there's no flavor to it, but that's okay, because I'm in it for the nutritional value. And as far as the amount of protein that you get for the cost in the amount of servings , it's actually the best value , there's just no taste to it , but that's okay , you still get the nutritional value
I am sick of sweet, cold breakfast protein drinks that are completely unsatisfying. I decided to try this because it was unsweetened and affordable, and I wanted to try something different. Now I whisk it into cold water with warming spices - turmeric, ginger, pepper, garlic, and a pinch of salt, then heat it in the microwave. It is a wonderful change - like drinking a hot mug of lentil soup for breakfast! I find that I'm satisfied and feel full, I definitely recommend giving it a try.
Suddenly the cost of pea protein powder has gone up. There are a lot of flavored protein powders in the market. If you are looking for a non- flavored option, this is the best. The whole family regularly adds it to their diet.
Standard pea protein isolate. It's thicker than whey protein, which I like. Sport studies show that pea protein is just as good as whey protein for building muscles, but is absorbed more gradually so maybe less goes into fat. It's cheaper than whey per pound, so I am considering switching entirely to pea protein but I will have to doctor the taste because it's bland by itself. Maybe will add sucralose and cocoa.
I've used this for years off and on and it's still the best unflavored powder I've found. It's so bland it's a base for whatever you want it taste like. I've used this as a shake, baked with it and made all sorts of frozen treats that mimic ice cream. It's helping me maintain my muscle and no stomach issues.
I'm very happy with this protein powder and I just ordered another one. I mix it with unsweetened almond milk twice a day to get more protein since I'm now vegan. I love the taste and I think the quality is great!!
I'm lactose intolerant, so i need a plant-based protein powder. This one dissolves very easily in cold liquid and it has a very mild flavor. Next I'll try to add it to baked goods and see how it goes.
Good quality definitely recommend cheaper protein love it
Tasty if you'd like plain rice cakes with salt. I am allergic to onions and most flavored snacks have onion powder. My grandson snacked on them when he was in a weight loss program. When I'm watching a movie on TV and would like buttered popcorn I substitute two of these.
It does have a taste and mixes like a paste. It might be ok in a shake or a mix of that type but just to mix it in oatmeal or similar, not good
