I recently moved into my camper full time to tray out "tiny living" and had to figure out my cooking option. Had to easy, safe around animals (a cat that could jump on the counter), small,/easy to store and ability to use low wattage if needed. I had never owned an induction burner before but have been very pleased! Even on a low setting it's very fast...in fact, you have to get used to the quickness and not burn things. The only thing I don't like is it's hard to keep shiny looking, even when clean.

this is my fourth purchase in twenty years. I use this in my daily commute, office, parks, porches. it is so versatile and the heat is so well distributed. I could probably be using the first one I bought, but I get excited and give them away to close friends to WOW them. the heat is inductive, so you can literally fry a bunch of oil, remove the pan and place this burner into your back pack. this would be perfect for low watage generator users like Rv Users and campers too

I couldn't afford a new range, so I decided that I would try this as an alternate to stove top cooking. It has proven to be the perfect choice to be able to cook on a stove top. Microwaving can't do everything. I was missing some stove top items like omletes, simmering sauces, and pasta. I did need to read the directions to make certain I was understanding how to get the best out of it. Very easy to follow directions with clear images of the panel buttons. I am very pleased with this purchase, I know it will get plenty of use as the weather has cooled down and my cravings for comfort foods will put this to the test.

This is the quickest, most efficient way to heat a ferrous container (%26 whatever it contains). Why not own an induction heater? But the thing I use it for most is sous vide. It controls the temp very well %26 with a fry pan %26 a zip-lock bag gets you there.

I just replaced my old Nuwave with this new one. My old one was still working %26 was excellent. The reason I replaced it was the control panel was so old the plastic letters were cracking %26 just starting to look bad. So I hope this new one lasts as long as my other one.

when I wanted to boil water for eggs it boils water and stays at temperature, 101.5 anything it stays at temperature I can finish frying and know that half the grease didn't end up in my food, and the burner didn't lower after it reached temperature frying, this is fabulous wonderful so far excellent bye

I love this portable burner This is my 2nd one the 1st one I dropped on a hard floor from a counter hieght and it cracked. I would recommend this product

I am elderly %26 sometimes forgetful- Sometimes, I might doze off,or I just can't stand there waiting while I cook. The timer %26 temp can re-calibrated so I won't have to worry. - Peace of mind

I actually brought the new wave when it first came out about 4 years ago. And it was quite a lot bigger then the new one is! My favourite pot that I use almost every day is about the same size as the new, new wave I just bought from Walmart.

This is very loud and the hearing surface is so small it's not practical for my uses. It also gets hot to touch, which is fine, I just didn't know. I'd say it's an average product, hence the three stars. But I wouldn't buy it again bc of how loud it is and how small the heating surface is. It would be a good choice for a single person or couple.
