NVX NSP525 5.25" Coaxial Car Speakers 2-Way 480W Peak N-Series with 20mm Silk Dome Tweeters

Replaced the blown factories in an 08 Dodge Ram with these. Fit, quality, and sound are great! Bypassed the factory amp to get the full range from the tweeters and they sound as good as any high end speakers I've ever purchased!. Planning on getting a NVX amp to run them in the future to really wake them up.

These are great speakers. The magnets are HUGE and HEAVY. This is a quality speaker and that says a lot about the company. The price is unbeatable. You cannot go wrong with these.

I did purchase these on Amazon but Sonic was the vendor (Sonic showed out of stock but not on Amazon). I used the fit guide from Sonic, I should have went with the 6x8 that another competitors fit guide said was correct (2008 Grand Marquis.) but the fit guide at work said either could be correct.) So I used the adapter plates (insert pain in the backside) self taping screws and they are in solid and sound good, hopefully during my next days off I'll have a chance to swap out the head unit and add the 4 channel and mono block amps along with the sub woofer. looking forward to hearing them with other than a cheap ford head unit. BTW the head unit, 4 channel amp kit, 4 channel amp, RCAs along with the mono block amp, sub and box all came from Sonic, all NVX but the head unit and 4 channel (Cerwin Vega), great service guys and I'm certain once I get the rest in I'll be grinning ear to ear! I would recommend this product to anyone. I have a super better sound compared to the factory paper speakers my truck came with. NVX NSP65 are AWESOME

I ordered these along with some other nvx speakers, and I gotta say I'm very impressed. The mids and highs are loud and clear but the best part is I can hear parts of the songs I've been playing through them I only get with good headphones. The bass is good for a 4x10 but I feel that you could clip these pretty easy on just head unit power if you are trying to play anything under 100hz. Over all I love the value and the looks of these nvx's and I will be buying more for my other vehicles.

I only spent like $250 (paired these with the 6x9 coax set) and got a system that makes me smile just from the bass alone, the highs are crispy clear (try covering a tweeter while a song is playing and you'll notice how sharp they really are), and they work great in my home system too. running these paired with the 6x9s and a high powered 12 makes my civic sound like a box chevy

I have a 2007 Mustang convertible, a base model (not the Shaker). I replaced the speakers and assumed I would need a new head unit as well. But I was suddenly able to hear the bass and pick out details in familiar songs that I couldn't hear with my $5000+ stereo in my house. I think the old stereo was fine - the speakers needed this upgrade. It's not super-high end but for a small investment and a tiny amount of work, definitely worth considering for a big but quick and inexpensive boost to quality.
