Great product but I ordered to small of one. I need one size larger for my car audio set up.
Have had installed in my truck for over 4 years with no issues. Have used the button to bypass and jump the starter battery a couple of times due to cold climate here. Using with all my equipment: 2 powered subs, speakers amp, EQ and crossover.
I got a 50% off email for this which was perfect timing as my headlights dim out on heavy bass and I was already researching about batteries and caps trying to decide what to do. I have not installed it yet as I am waiting on my battery which I also purchased from Sonic Electronix. Sonic Electronix and NVX a killer combo!
Finally a microprocessor isolator for a reasonable price. It comes with a bypass switch so you can link the two batteries together and that alone makes it worth the price. I just recently added second battery to my trunk and with everything I do I want the latest and greatest, but still always looking for the best price. Well this NVX microprocessor isolator was definitely cheaper then most of the other brands plus I know with it being NVX I'm getting quality. So final thoughts its super easy to install and comes built with a bypass switch so you don't have to add one if you want that option. Thanks NVX for building a quality isolator for a reasonable price.
This seems to be well made and of good quality. I am really happy there is a simple bypass now in case I need to jump-start my car. NVX has once again done really well.
It works great! Second, if the main battery fails, you can hit a button inside the car and jump yourself off.
