There were so many awesome reviews for this, and I love seafood. I used it for collosal fried shrimp and couldn't get enough. I usually make my own as some brands are too sweet or too sour, this is perfect!! I still have my second one, but as soon as that one is open, I will order this again.
I love this tartar sauce… It reminds me of a flavor from an old seafood house I used to go to as a teenager. It is slightly sweet and just a little bit thinner than your average tartar sauce, but to me, the flavor is outstanding. I just ordered a couple more jars of it and was shocked to see that is actually on clearance. I hate that Walmart is not going to carry this anymore.
Ten Stars! This is the BEST tartar sauce that I've ever eaten! Ingredients are fresh and distinctive, and its taste makes you feel like you're eating fresh seafood by the ocean. This gourmet product stands far above the other brands, so I hope you'll try it!
We've tried many brands of tartar sauce and this is our favorite. Good consistency and flavor and easy to get out of the jar, unlike squeeze bottles. No waste.
This is by far the best store-bought tartar sauce I have ever tasted. It is so yummy. Not bitter or too heavy on the vinegar taste. For the price, it can't be beat.
Just the way I like it! Been trying different brands and finally found the one I prefer the best....just enough sweetness and tartness from acidity. Creamy but yet full of crunch!
growing up in Washington State back in the 80s-90s, Skipper's was my favorite fish place to eat. their tartar sauce was the best and now I live 1500 miles away in the desert it's nice to have a taste that reminds me of home.
I can't give it a poor review just because I don't like the taste, since that's just me. It has a nice, creamy texture and is easy to spoon out of the jar. That said, I just didn't like the taste, it wasn't like the brand I normally purchase.
Two of the three jars of tartar sauce arrived with the inner seal under the lid open and the lid loose, which is unacceptable since they contain mayonnaise and ingredients which spoil once opened and refrigerated. SUGGESTION/RECOMMENDATION: seal the jar lid with a plastic wrap in case the inner seal is broken
Every time they sent it to me, it was out of cold. It was out of date about one month out of date. Haven't got a good date yet three times I sent for it.
