I bought this for my dog who hates his nails trimmed and so he needs a vet visit with sedation. Vet uses this exact muzzle now instead of sedation and it is the right size. 4xl I bought for my 45 pound lab/Bassett hound mix with a long snout. Fits perfect

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO THINK USING A MUZZLE WHILE YOU WALTZ AROUND ALL DAY TO PREVENT CHEWING OR BARKING, AND LEAVE YOUR DOG UNATTENDED. SHAME ON YOU! DOGS USE THEIR MOUTHS AS A MEANS OF COOLING THEMSELVES OFF,AND MUZZLES ARE NOT MEANT TO STAY ON WHILE YO

works well
My basset hound is a barker. When we go for a walk, he barks at every dog he sees. I put this on and it works. If it isn't tight enough, he can get it off. I learned that right away. With it on, he can only make a muffled rrmmphhh sound.

Great muzzle
Muzzle is adjustable to permit perfect fit and is incredibly sturdy and wear resistant. Unfortunately, the neck strap is about 2 inches too short to permit closure and must be modified before use.

I have used this muzzle on daily walks for my 120lb bullmastiff mix and it does exactly what it s supposed to do. No matter what furry little dog walks near, he cannot bark, nor redirect to the other dogs. Although he CAN still sneak eating random foo

Waste of money
Initial tests were ok. Put it on my sweet but destructive dog & left for about 3 hours. She got the muzzle off & chewed it, then went on a chewing rampage through my house. So now I am out the $ I spent on the muzzle & whatever she destroyed because she w

not too good
I just put this on my Basenji, Darlin, and she immediately got out of it. She is a biter, and I need one for bathing her. I do not recommend this model.
