Please make a lipstick in the color of sherbet like the eyeshadow. Currently wearing the eyeshadow as lipstick. As I can to not find that color pink anywhere.
I've been using the Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk for literally the last 6 years as an eyeshadow base, it's pretty much my holy grail when 30$ bases crease or get too oily. I have the sharpener but honestly I prefer using a small cosmetic spatula to scoop some product onto my eyelid then blend out with fingers before eyeshadow application, and believe me there is SO MUCH product in these things, I use it daily and only have to buy 1 to last me a solid year. It's always in my recommended products when people come to me for makeup advice and I usually have 1 or 2 extra on hand to just give away to people LOL. One of my top 5 makeup products hands down.
decent color payoff on waterline, although 619 Rust color appears a bit pinkish until you really layer it on (if you're not into the whole pink-eye look). Please include instructions on package for how to sharpen! Tried to pull it open and twist and all the things until found a video online explaining (you just sharpen as if it's a regular wood pencil with a pencil sharpener)
They're great colors and they last but what you see is what you get. There's no more than the tip of the pencil. Nothing else to roll up and use and for that price I won't buy them again.
I like the formula. It's creamy and blends well. Lasts okay, definitely wears off throughout the day. However, the packaging design is terrible. It's plastic, but you need to sharpen it as if it's wood. You need a special size if sharpener for it. Sharpening wastes a bunch of product. It looks like it should just twist up like with similar products from other brands, but no. I like the formula but I won't be purchasing any more.
Pros first. Was easy to apply and to blend. Good for a quick smokey eye look without much elbow grease. Now the sad part. Oh it bleeds and how. This product is not meant to be applied to the lower waterline. Period. Might be good for a quick daytime eye makeup. Be sure to prime and set the eyes before and after.
I love the color options and the texture is very nice and creamy, I love to just spread all over my lids and call it a day! I def recommend using a primer because it does tend to crease. My gripe with this product which is also the reason why I even pulled up to this page to see if other people had the same problem is that it isn't a twist up! And you can't sharpen it because it comes in a plastic casing so once I used up the tip I didn't know what to do. And I was very frustrated because I was guessing there is product all the way down the inside of the tube I just didn't know how to get to it. So I deadass just cut through the plastic to get to the rest of the color which is ridiculous but it worked.
I love smudgy eyeliners and they're hard to find; but I wish these had a twist mechanism instead of having to be sharpened! I don't want a point and it feels wasteful; I want my blunt edge and it the product doesn't extend far enough above the casing to maintain a blunt edge for long.
Most of the colors are very light AND PACKAGING IS AWFUL & very very hard to open. Will not purchase anymore. Wanted to return but that w not an option for me. Would like a refund for the 2 sets I bought but doubt it.
The product itself is smooth and creamy, I apply it all over and smooth with a brush for theatrical makeup. However I was so confused when I first bought it I actually had to look up online how to get at the stuff once I had used the first tip. I was dismayed to find it actually required a giant pencil sharpener - had to get a carpentry pencil sharpener out of the garage - and sharpening breaks it, leaves sharp bits that scratch your skin, and pulls the whole stick out of the applicator... Very disappointed with the packaging for such a lovely product, but I guess that's why it's cheap.
