NYX Cosmetics NYX Foundation, 0.26 oz

This is the first time I've used the NYX Matte But Not Flat Powder. It did not disappoint! I needed something to go on after my liquid foundation to help set my makeup and not have it rub off on everything and also to give me a more finished look. This was perfect! I do a little spritz of the NYX setting spray after I apply this matte powder, and I'm totally pleased with the results. My makeup now looks more polished, and as the day wears on, it still looks good. I'm very pleased with this product and will definitely be ordering another.

I was quite excited to purchase this as I love to have a matte look to my makeup, vintage style, but it's been hard to find foundations that give you the matte look but don't make you look well flat. This powder went on like a dream, very soft and smooth and the affect was beautiful. I used it as finishing powder for my under eye concealer to begin with and now I use it as a finishing powder for the rest of my face. I'm also considering using it as a light foundation for those summer months when I really don't feel like wearing a mask of makeup. Will definitely repurchase once I've finished what I have. Also has a very nice container.

For the longest I have been struggling to find a foundation that fits my skin tone and it's ALWAYS a struggle. After watching many makeup tutorials on YouTube, I noticed a lot of the makeup artists used the Stay Matte but not Flat foundation. Both Powder or liquid. And i decided to go ahead and try it myself. I love that there are many shades that fit more than one undertone. Me being darker skin, I notice a lot of companies have shades that suites those with yellow undertones and I have a red/peachy undertone. And I was pleased to see that there was a shade to suite me. I ordered it and fell in love at the first use. And this will probably be the ONLY foundation I'll use ever again. Thank you so much. XOXO.

I've been using Nyx Cosmetics for a while but hadn't tried any of the pressed powders or foundations until recently, mostly because I'm afraid of purchasing the wrong color. I read a review, stating that this was the closest thing to MAC's Studio Fix, which I use. I gave it a shot and am so glad that I did! I searched the closest shade to my (MAC NC20) shade and it's absolutely perfect! I recently purchased the foundation as well, which is a tad shade off but still usable. I would definitely recommend this product! The only downside is that the compact is not very deep so it has to be replaced often.

I love this stuff! Its been out of stock at every store for almost 6 months!!!!! Once I found it I had to double up! Great product. Will continue to buy!

This is my first and most important makeup product..a must have, i have had used all "The best" but there is not one like this, good and full coverage but yet natural...

I borrowed my sisters after she had bought it and I just fell in love right away. I just had to buy my own. I usually purchase the more expensive make up just because I break out easily, but this is amazing for being a cheap brand. It does exactly what it says and it does a great job at hiding my acne scars. The only thing is the oilyness of my face comes back after about 4 hours. Which isn't too bad, just dab on a little more and you're good to go again!

I recently purchased this about 2 weeks ago i needed foundation powder to wear to miami carnival, i read alot of the reviews on this powder and i decided id give it a go!! I love,love, love this powder my make up last all day no need to reapply and it holds even if through out the day you tend to gt a lil oily in Mac mineraliz skin finish im a dark How ever Nutmeg is the comp powder for tht color in this powder the stay matte nt flat actually is better quality and its less the money, the disappointment is that it hits pan way to fast

I bought this foundation about a month ago and I've worn it a fair amount of times. It holds up pretty well! I love the color and the application. I've gotten ton of compliments on it. I'm a fan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The coverage of this powder is great and color/tone matches perfectly; HOWEVER, this does not keep me matte. I get pretty shiny in my T-zone and even when using this with a matte, oil-fighting primer, I'm still stuck with a grease slick by lunch. I still love the product for its not mattifying properties, but if you have a stubbornly oily forehead, this may not be for you. On the bright side, no breakouts!!!
