NYX Cosmetics NYX Waterproof Full Throttle Lipstick,

I had been buying pricier lipsticks because I wanted matte without having it look dry. But I really didn't want to pay so much if I could find a drugstore product that would look as good as the more expensive brand. Most drugstore mattes, sadly, go on too thick and show every line on one's lips. NYX Full Throttle, however, gives the soft matte look that I like, has a decent color range, is long lasting -- and costs much less than what I had been using.

I purchased three shades of this lipstick: Loaded (described as a deep mauve, but is more like a maroon colour), Nightcrawler (much deeper than the swatch on the site), and Kiss the Dust (a lovely deep beige). The formula of this lipstick is amazing. It's creamy during application, but dries down to a very matte and waterproof finish quickly. Once it's dry, it's transfer proof. Very similar to a liquid lipstick, but without the difficulty to apply since it's in a stick form. My only complaints are that the beveled tip is not very useful and goes flat after one or two usages. Also I wish there were more product in the tube than the 2.4g (0.08oz). Overall I love this lipstick, and I hope they expand the line in the future with more shades!

Every time I experiment with another lipstick I'm disappointed. The coverage, lightweight feel, awesome color and lack of scent have made Full Throttle my signature lipstick. Please never discontinue it!!

I bought the colour Loaded and I love it! This colour is very pigmented and because it's so pigmented, you only need to apply it once. It's very creamy, soft and non-drying. The applicator makes it very easy to apply it on your lips as well. I highly recommend this colour for deeper skin tones!

Being olive toned skin makes things a little hard to find the perfect berry color. Locked is so beautiful and the shape helps with lining your lips if you don't have a lip liner. One con is that it loses it's shape over time like a regular lipstick but is still good. Def going to buy a new one soon!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this lipstick because I love NYX lipstick, and I was not disappointed! This lipstick goes on great, and lasts for a long time! The only reason it came off was when I ate, but I reapplied it, and it looked great! It even lasts through multiple drinks!! I love this lipstick!

I bought this about 2 day's ago & I am impressed. I love everything about these lipstick.. I have tried soo many matte lipsticks (which by the way are my favorite) but these are impressive, I love how pigmented they are & how long lasting they stay on your lips after a meal & drinks.. I also love how they do not dry up my lips like other matte lipsticks do. I really hope Nyx bring them back cause I will buy them over & over again highly recommend these.

I'm very much impressed with the formula of these lipsticks. Upon application, its very creamy and comfortable, then it dries down matte. BONUS POINTS for being smudge-proof & waterproof! I just wish they would have more wearable day to day colours, such as pinky nudes, mauves & warm beige.

I got this lipstick in two colours and the formula is pretty good for the price. They're pigmented, they're matte. But the packaging is still awful. I've read previous reviews, and have seen that I'm not the only one who's had the problem with the lipstick being loose in the tube, or smooshing into the lid, ruining the end of it, and wasting product. They need to seriously fix this.
