NYX Professional Makeup Bare With Me Hydrating Jelly Primer

An excellent lightweight primer. Sometimes I wear this by itself over my moisturizer and sunscreen, and it gives me a nice glowing effect. I love the gel consistency and that it isn't too thick. I have sensitive skin and this (as well as other NYX products) never irritate me.

Love this product! It feels wet to touch and I absolutely feel it adds moisture and hydrates my face. I let it set for a couple minutes before I start my foundation routine. I used to use the Angel Veil Primer and I love that product too. I think this one is better for that luminous look while the Angel Veil adds more of that matte look. I prefer the matte look but I really like this product!!

Love the gel texture. So lightweight. I cant find it in stores. Pls don't discontinue this product

I had been eyeing this product for a while now because my face is a bit dry and whenever I would put my foundation on, it would look caked. I finally decided to buy the jelly primer and I am so glad I did! This primer makes my face smooth and when I put my foundation on, it applies so well! The only thing is, it is a bit sticky but that doesnt affect the make up application:)

purchased this because it looked like something I wanted to try. I heard about a different product but this one caught my eye. Love it! Also, I was gifted said other named product and I'm not sure which one was first to market but they are very similar and I love this product.

I have bought lots of high end primers and bought the Bear with me jjelly primer on a whim. I could not believe how smooth my foundation looked. It dries down matte, but since I wear more radiant foundations this primer acts like a solid base to grip it. I have worn it with both water and silicone based makeup and it works great with both. My foundation stays put all day without breaking up. I do have one gripe about it and it is the way it's dispensed. It comes in the jar and I do scoop it out with my beauty spatula because a) dipping my finger in it is something I dislike and b) the consistency is a little like jello so it's hard to control. I wish it was in a full size tube. I would just buy the travel size if I could but I can't find it in any stores. Otherwise it's a five star for how it works on skin.

I have terribly dry skin and I'm over thirty, with winter coming I thought I'd try something different this year! My foundation tends to separate, and also clings to my dry patches. I've never used a primer before, mostly out of laziness but also I didn't want to irritate my sensitive skin. This stuff is lovely! Very light, while feeling like a protective barrier for my skin. Feels almost identical to applying straight fresh aloe gel, and ever so slightly tacky once set. Definitely helps keep my foundation from separating during the day. Doesn't do a lot for my dry spots, but I wasn't expecting miracles. Overall I'm happy with it!

I bought the primer a while ago as my skin is on the dry side. I have a religious skin routine and never actually used a primer before as I didn't really need it due to my skin care being enough. However EVERYONE goes on about how a primer is a must so I bought this and although a good product generally, I love the jelly texture of it and it felt moisturising to my skin, I love that it's for drier skin types, the packaging is cute. It just didn't work for me. My foundation would always look really textured and I tried several different types knowing that certain products don't gel together but no improvement. I always use hydrating foundations including the nyx total control with that primer and still had cake effect. I had less than half of the product left and I have now stopped using it and it really was this primer just not sitting right on my face as my foundation looks fine now I have stopped priming. I don't use a lot of product and it's really bummed me out that it hasn't worked for my skin purely because I love nyx products and the fact that this particular primer is suppose to cater to dry skin types and it just made me look even drier after applying make up, just yeah, disappointing.

I don't know if it's something about my skin or the foundation that I'm using, but this primer just isn't for me. My make up slips right off and looks terrible after a full day. I can't wait to get home and take it off after work because it looks so bad. I love Nyx but this was a hard fail for me.
