NYX Professional Makeup Prismatic Eyeshadow

I heard good things about these shadows so I picked one up online in the shade 'Mermaid'. It's very soft and nicely pigmented, as well as metallic and slightly iridescent but not chunky at all. The color of Mermaid is also VERY pretty. I didn't have to use a primer for it to be true to what it looks like in the container, but applying it on top of one of NYX's jumbo eye pencils makes the color very dramatic. I like it a lot and would repurchase. :D

I absolutely love this line of Nyx shadows. They're so wonderfully pigmented and shimmery. Fallout seems very minimal if any. I attached a picture to show the first three I've gotten (more on the way, so excited). Each color is one swipe of a finger, no more than that. Top is Fireball, middle is Punk Heart, and bottom is Bedroom Eyes. They really seem to last too, which is always a plus. I definitely recommend these.

I bought these shadows in Girl Talk, Jaded, Mermaid, and Gold and they are just beautiful! They are very pigmented and shimmery which I love! I have pretty big eyes and these really made my eye color pop! Loveeeee!

I got this about two months ago in the shade Mermaid and I fell in love!!! I liked it so much much I ordered five more shades. The pigmentation is phenomenal, the colors blend easily, and can wear for six- eight hours and not have the colors look muddy after.

I bought the peach and mermaid color and they colors are beautiful! I use my finger to apply them to my lids because I have noticed the color pay off is better.

The eyeshadows are best used using your fingers. If you try using a brush, there is hardly any pigmentation. I got the color Girl Talk and it is such a pretty pink color.

I love Benefit's Watt's Up highlight stick and have for years. Unfortunately, in this summer mugginess, I found it enhancing my already oily skin, so I picked up the Prismatic Shadow in "Girl Talk" in hopes of getting the same effect without the grossness. I layered loads on over top of the Jumbo Eye Pencil in "Milk" and I'm very impressed! A lovely glow that doesn't show up pink on my blotchy porcelain skin (severe acne sucks). I would liken it to a champagne tone instead of pinkish, as in the description. Docking a star as I wish the pots were bigger.

Very dark--more so than it looked in the on-line photo. Too dark for me to use.

I love the color and it stays on pretty well but I have 2 of these eyeshadows and carry them in my makeup bag and both cracked and crumbled within a month .if they could fix that, I would love these shadows.

This item arrived completely in pieces. I will still use it. I like the color and I can manage. But I know that if I drop it one time while I'm applying it then it's over because all of the pieces will fall out. It looks great when it's applied but I could find something that looks just as good or better but isn't as fragile easily.
