NYX Professional Makeup Shine Killer Face Primer

Definitely the holy grail of primer if you want a matte finish. Freaked me out at first because it's black but it dries down quickly and is so soft. I hate being shiny because I feel like it looks sweaty so this is it. I'm converted.

This item is great for summertime when we all have that sweaty shine and I work in warehouse it's great for keep my face dry and shine free

Been buying this from my local beauty supply store for about a year now & it never fails me. I have really oily skin & this helps to keep it from coming through my makeup. I mix it with my primer & it gives me a wonderful matte & pore-less look. I also have very sensitive skin & this doesn't irritate my skin at all. It's very lightweight & feels like velvet on my skin. No weird chemical smell (barely any smell at all) nor does it leave your skin sticky like some serums. This is a MUST HAVE

I was extremely upset when the product I was using on areas of my face and scalp was discontinued, but then I found Shine Killer. It works great, I am very happy! I have already recommended it several friends! Please, please never discontinue this product! Thanks!

This product works great!  I put it on the oily areas of my face.  The tube is light and easy to carry with me for touch up, if needed,during a long day. I had run out of the product and could not find it in the cosmetic stores I frequent, so I ordered two online just to be sure and in preparation for the long hot summer.  

I'm so happy I decided to give this a try. I have really really oily skin and have tried a lot of products and nothing seems to work except this shine killer. I use it all the time and have a matte look on my face after several hours. Finally something that works. I will be purchasing a few more to have them stocked up. Hopefully I see the same results when the weather gets warmer. :)

This primer was not what I expected. It felt greasy to me and the charcoal additive made the primer appear grey on my face.

I don't like this new formula at all. It gives my face a dark tint and I can't stand the smell of it. It also leaves a residue that becomes stringy and doesn't help with the shine. The old formula was much better when it was clear.

I don't do reviews often unless it's really bad or really awesome. This was HORRIBLE. I have oily t-zone skin and this made it soooo much worse. I gave it a week though and tried my other face lotion and foundation just in case it was reacting weird to what I always use. Nope. Oil slick. …and clogged my pores and caused horrible acne. Garbage.
