NYX Professional Makeup Total Control Drop Foundation, Nutmeg

Bought this to try out after looking at reviews of it online for weeks! Heard its of good things, and was very excited to test it out :) First time I used it was going out to the bar! It lasted all night (I also used to NYX finishing spray), and looked amazing! I used about 6 drops to cover my whole face, which gave a medium coverage. It was easy to apply using my beauty blender sponge. The only issue I have to mention with this product is the size... I do wish it was larger for the price :( This is why I'll only use it for special occasions. In all, I love this product, will probably buy it again in the future. :)

I looked at the various pictures that were featured, but I had to try a few shades before I found my perfect match. Fortunately, I was more than happy to buy more colors, as I work as a makeup artist. This foundation goes on smooth and really gives you an airbrush finish. I also brought the special brush that can be purchased along with it and I was very happy! I would purchase this again and I would definitely recommend this product to my clients. A little goes a long way so I am confident that it will last for a long time to come!

Upon seeing the texture and thinness of this product, I assumed it wasn't going to be great or long lasting as I have dark circles under my eyes. I was wrong in both accounts. The formula is like water (which is a nice change from the foundations that feel like paste for full coverage!), but stays for those long days and gives full coverage! I think it's my new favorite. Please don't go chaging the ingredients on me!! Lol... I have medium/olive skin that is dry. I moisturizer day and night and it is regulated. This was a pleasant surprise!

Love this foundation! Offers great color match, sheer but thorough coverage. I'm fair skinned (and have always had trouble finding appropriate color) and am in my 50's- I wish I had found this foundation sooner! For me, it beats the expensive brands I've tried.

I have extremely dry skin, this is the only foundation that has ever worked well with me, it almost reminds me of an airbrush finish. I also have very light skin and almost all foundations look orange on me, but this is the perfect colour (02 Alabaster) would 100% recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this with the drop foundation. Love how it blends the foundation but I don't use it the recommended way. I drop the foundation directly to my skin the blend with the brush. It does blend well but I feel at times it leaves somewhat of an unfinished look. I don't know if it's the brush bristles or what exactly. Over all I am happy with the purchase!

I bought this brush along with the Total Coverage Drop Foundation. The brush was supposed to help apply foundation for more consistent coverage. The brush is very soft fluffy, but the downfall was that the brush soaks up a lot of product and doesn't blend out very easily. It's not a bad brush for the price and I still use mine, just not for that foundation it was created for.

I have super dry flaky skin and I hardly find any foundation that works for me so I always reach for the BB creams or go bare faced. This one does give you that control of how much coverage you want. It lasted pretty much the whole day. Just noticed random dry patches at the every end. 4 star because for the price you pay, you don't get much product (only 13 ml) and most of it would get absorbed into the beauty blender/brush that you use because the product is super liquidy

I bought the product with such high hopes because I had heard such good things. I bought the shade "light" as well as the recommended brush. I have pretty flawless skin apart from a few dry patches, and my skin can get oily if not taken care of properly. This foundation felt light weight and nice on my skin at first but after wearing it, I could see the product separating on my forehead, around my nose and my upper lip. It made my skin feel so incredibly oily even though I used a mattifying powder. I couldn't wait to get it off my skin by the end of the day, feeling oily and messy. The rest of my makeup is mostly from NYX and I love it but this product just feels like a miss for my skin. :(

Note: I don't use the drop foundation, but other brands. When I first bought this brush I thought it had the best shape for applying foundation. However, I noticed it absorbed a lot of foundation. I had to use more foundation because most of it would stay on the brush. That is why I tried to clean it every week, but it doesn't clean very well, and it looses bristles every time. Also, I didn't like how the foundation looked when applied with this brush.
