The controller actually is pretty interesting. I'm reviewing this as having multiple premium controllers. My first impression was the plastic feels mediocre. Probably less good than most other higher profile brands in this range. But the buttons actually feel pretty good. Pretty solid membrane clean press feel. The Dpad is clicky and pretty defined. It comes with an extra more standard cross defined rocker which feels pretty plain no frills plastic. But it works and is feels good to use. The toggle for the triggers to short clicky works really good and is among the best. Both modes feel nice. Clicky is smooth to switch to and feels solid and not mushy like some others have. So that's really nice. The buttons swap some call a gimmick works well. At first I was confused because you can't really see it with the controller off. But they light up and show the legends underneath. When it's off they mostly look like plain buttons with no letters on them. But turned on you see it well. The letters are a little recessed in the buttons though so at an angle they may not always show as straight in the button as normal depending on your orientation. It just changes the letters not moving the entire buttons. I was unsure about how it worked. It's pretty cool and could be helpful. Although most people will put it where they want and not mess with it much. For some people who share controllers etc it could be helpful. The back buttons feel good and no issue there. The dock is nice and can also hold the dongle. It has a nice magnetic little click when you connect it which is an annoyance with the dock of a premium controller I've used. Now to the big part in my opinion. The sticks. This has adjustable tension on the sticks. I actually like this. Some sticks feel light to me. You can crank this up to pretty tight and there is resistance. This is good for preference and also racing games or anything where having such a light stick is annoying. They click up and down smoothly and it feels good. I like it. I honestly think all controllers should let you adjust stick tension. So overall the feel of the controller isn't the most premium out there. But all the buttons feel good and there are some really compelling features that make this a respectable controller. The big ones to me really are the nice dual mode triggers and adjustable tension on the sticks. I think this meets or exceeds the expectations I had given it.
I have been using the Nyxi Zero-Drift TMR Hall Effect Wireless Gamepad and it has quickly become one of my favorite controllers for swapping between PC, Switch, and mobile gaming. The biggest selling point here is the TMR (Tunnel Magnetoresistance) technology in the thumbsticks. While traditional Hall Effect sensors are great for preventing stick drift, TMR sensors take it a step further by offering higher input resolution and drawing significantly less battery power. The result is an incredibly smooth, precise aiming experience that feels perfectly responsive, and you never have to worry about the sticks wearing out and drifting over time. I also really appreciate the overall build quality and customization. The adjustable tension on the thumbsticks allows you to dial in the exact resistance you want, whether you need a loose feel for casual exploration or a much stiffer tension for precise aiming in a shooter. It also features dual-mode triggers and swappable ABXY buttons, making it incredibly easy to change the physical layout when moving from a PC game to a mobile game. The included magnetic charging dock is just the icing on the cake, keeping the controller neatly stored and fully charged on my desk. While the TMR technology puts it at a slightly higher price point than a basic wireless pad, the sheer amount of premium features and versatility packed into it makes it absolutely worth the investment. It is a fantastic gamepad that feels great in the hands and works flawlessly across different devices.
I absolutely love this NYXI TMR Hall effect wireless controller. I got it to use with my Nintendo Switch. It is made very well and it is a very nice quality. It has zero drift, adjustable tension and a great turbo function which is nice. The Button light brightness adjustment function is also great! It works great and the functions and control are smooth. Love that it comes with a charging dock. It's very nice. I love the blue lights on it , the detail of it is great. I highly recommend!
This controller has a really neat button setup that can switch between the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller layout of “XABY” and the alternative “YBAX” layout by sliding the lever on the front of the controller. The controller also has adjustable joysticks that allow you to tighten or loosen them to change how soft or stiff they feel by turning the small ring around each joystick. The triggers can be changed from the traditional style to a button click style by sliding the lever on the back. I'm impressed with all of these customizable features, and I like that it can be used with Bluetooth, wired , or the receiver they give you.
I used this controller on PC and have been really impressed with it so far. It connected easily, and the controls felt responsive with no noticeable lag during gameplay. The thumbsticks feel smooth and precise, and I really like that the tension can be adjusted to fit your preference. That is a nice feature if you switch between different types of games. The Hall Effect sticks and triggers are a big plus, especially if you are trying to avoid stick drift over time. The buttons feel good, the vibration is solid without being overdone, and the controller has a comfortable shape for longer gaming sessions. I also like the included charging dock because it gives the controller a clean place to sit when I'm done using it instead of leaving it loose on my desk. The additional directional pad is awesome too! Overall, this is a solid controller for PC gaming. It feels well-built, has useful features, and the charging dock makes it even more convenient. I would definitely recommend it if you want a wireless controller with a little more customization than a basic gamepad.
I only have the color three because I would've preferred purple. black is classic. connecte and charges perfectly, magnetic attachment is perfect and it was packaged immaculately, even comes with a replacement d-pad and decals. great controller, great company. very easy wireless connection. excuse the busy desk I have a headphone holder coming too.
I heard about the NYXI hype and decided to try it out for PC gaming — mainly CoD. Glad I did. The thumbstick precision is the real standout. The TMR sensors aren't just marketing talk, you can actually feel the difference when you're lining up a shot. No drift, no slop, just goes where you point it. The adjustable tension on the sticks is something I didn't think I'd care about until I tried it. I like mine a little stiffer for shooters and being able to tune that yourself is genuinely useful. Small thing, big difference. Wireless connection stayed solid the whole time. No cutouts, no lag I could notice even in fast matches. Battery lasted through some pretty long sessions too. The charging dock is a nice touch. I just drop it on there when I'm done instead of hunting for a cable. Pros: Zero drift, adjustable stick tension, tight wireless connection, triggers are super responsive, charging dock included
We have a bunch of different controllers for our various systems and we have used high end to the cheapest we could find. This control easily fits up there with the top tier ones. -It came in well packaged in perfect shape. -The instructions were pretty good. - This being a muti system controller set up can get tricky, but we did not have any issue pairing it with a Switch. -It seems well made with the materials being sturdy and strong. It looks like cheap plastic at first glance but is quite solid. -It is very slightly heavier than the lightest controllers we have used but nowhere near the heaviest. -The switchable buttons are great if you get mixed up with switching between systems or if you prefer it a certain way. It is just a slider switch that moves between the two options smoothly without issue. -It comes with a swappable “D” pad if you prefer the old style. -The adjustable tension on the joysticks works smoothly and is a great help for precision. -It does not turn on the switch like some other controllers. -All the buttons push/click smoothly without catching or being loud. -The Turbo function works great. -It does have two programmable buttons on the back that work well and are smaller than some of these “wing” shaped ones around that tend to get accidentally pushed when playing a high action game. -The vibration feature works great. -The triggers are also adjustable and work as intended. -The back part of the handles have a texture to help you keep grip even when things get intense. -The controller fits onto the base/dock/charging station smoothly with little effort. You do not have to fight to line anything up like we have had with some others of this same style. -At the current price of $60 ish dollars this is a really great deal for a high quality controller. So far this has not only worked for casual turn based games but great for high action quick reflex/input games like Elden ring and Monster hunter rise.
I think this controller is pretty good overall. The build quality seems good, as long as you don't care to have rubber grips, and the size matches an Xbox controller, which I like. By far, the absolute best feature on this controller is the adjustable joystick tension -- it's amazing being able to adjust the physical resistance of the joystick depending on which game I'm playing, with no external tools needed. But one unfortunate negative about this controller is the trigger lock mechanism -- there's a switch on the back of the controller to enable a 'hair trigger' style clicking for the triggers, shortening the trigger pull, but it really doesn't function well and fails to register your clicks half the time. So if you need that micro-switch trigger for FPS games, try a different controller. Thankfully the normal trigger mode works perfectly fine though, which is what I use in most games. Besides that -- the joystick, D-pad, and face buttons all feel good, with no noticeable latency (might have to try both bluetooth and 2.4ghz mode to see what works best), and not having to worry about stick drift is great. The charging dock is convenient too. It's not perfect, but this controller works well for my uses, and I do like it overall.
First, I'd like to cut into the strangely long list of features instead of my life story. It has sticks that will not (or at least have a very small chance of) drift. The controller itself has Bluetooth and can connect to computers with Apple or Windows operating systems and switch. The sticks are adjustable for how tight or losse you want them to be. The buttons do not have grooves and instead change the button layout by a little switch between Xbox and switch layouts. The back triggers can be made to quick shoot for that type of game and there are two mappable buttons. The brightness is adjustable along with the final feature being turbo. Secondly, here is "my life story" I have been gaming for long enough I can't remember a time that I wasn't gaming in some capacity. For as long as that time has been going on, or at least since I've been playing switch, drift has been a problem. My controllers, loved and forgotten ones have drifted, a controller I relied on every single day got drift so it is very important that it doesn't drift. That is the main reason I got this overpriced controller along with it's ability to connect to a computer.
