O-Mega II 6" Oval Side Steps

I have always been satisfied with the Luverne products for years. The O-Mega ll is a perfect choice for my use. I have the original O-Mega on my '14 Ram. I really appreciate the better grip step pads available. And very easy to install.

I'm old so I paid to have them installed but they look great, strong, and slip resistant. I just wish there was a way to make them lower, it is still quite a step up. Absolutely happy with them.

Looks great, easy install, strong supportive step. They are not frame install, but mount to cab mounts with an adjustable bolt that you adjust to eliminate flex of the running boards.

Very nice item, solid and looks great. Two of the mounting holes were off a little bit. 5 minutes with a dremel took care of it. overall easy to install if you have a bit of skill. I would purchase again.

Great running boards, they were pretty easy to install with two people, and have a superior system of mounting to the cab corners and being stabilized by the frame. I like that the treads are easily replaced with a few screws, and that the tube is aluminum. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I think the treads should be about 4”-6” longer to give you slightly more foot placement room, and the instructions were slightly confusing as to which bolts went to which area.

I went with aluminum because where I live, steel tends to rust quickly. Installation reminded me why I hate working on vehicles: old parts are hard to get off and the new ones never quite fit. The holes on the front brackets for these did not align with the ones in my truck, and required some modification. The directions say to put the end caps on last, but I wish I had done them first as they are difficult to install. But because I was missing some bolts I just left them off anyway. The steps have an aggressive tread which I like.
