oakland living elite chimenea - outdoor

The chimenea's for sale in my local stores were so expensive. I wanted something small for the back patio. So I decided to give this a chance. It was simple to put together. Very heavy once assembled. Seems very sturdy. We have used it quite a few times and it works well. I plan on storing it in my shed for the winter, so I expect it will last quite a long time. It's definitely worth the money!! I looked at a slightly larger one with the exact same design. The price on that was $250. The only bad thing is you have to have small pieces of wood because of the size. For my purposes it was perfect. I just want to burn personal papers, and I break up pieces of wood from pallets. I plan on building a deck and will use this on it. The screen all around and on the top keep hot ashes from escaping.

It is beautiful but too small. I thought it was bigger.

Very nice and useful but thought is gonna be bigger In the pic if not pay attention, thunk is tall but us just 3' height.. Even like this,i gifted to someone and others want me to buy same one for them ,they really love it...

The instruction were horrendous. 1/2 cut off copy, unclear, and just outright terrible. Luckily I've put a few Lego sets together in my life and was able to figure it out on my own

It was exactly as depicted on the web site. Shipping was faster than advertised and reasonable given the weight. The chiminea is very sturdy and relatively easy to put together (took about 20 minutes). I was looking for something that wasn't overwhelming and not often seen in backyards. It's perfect for San Diego.

This Chimenea is the perfect size for my 12' x 16' Deck. We wanted to sit & watch the fire but not buy one that is large. 15" wide is perfect & you certainly can burn sticks of up to 10". If deck size is an issue, this is perfect. I recommend the SCREWS be half an inch longer though & wish it came w/a cover.

This is VERY, VERY small. Keep in mind that you can only burn 5inch pieces of twigs in this Chimenea.

The product is not as big as I need and was a pain to put together. I will definately look at products in person and not order on line.

first of it came in a crushed boxes much smaller than we expected. thats our fault because we didn't measure. So we figured we would keep it. we started to put it together and the box was filled with random pieces dumped in the bottom. possibly it was a return. The directions are awful. We couldn't figure out what pieces it was suggesting we use, so we had to guess. the sections of the fireplace did not match up when screws were in and it was WAY off lining up. we ultimately returned it to the store.

1 It is way too small, although the dimensions match the picture is very deceiving, there should something in the picture to show the scale. 2 it is not made very straight and the holes do not match up correctly, so it is not level looking. 3 The legs ARE NOT cast iron as stated and bend easily. 4 the door is crooked and does not match up correctly with the latch. 5 It should be listed as a table top unit.
